But, “What difference does it make?”

I have been saying for months that ANY Republican can beat Hillary, so let’s get the right one.

Agree. He, Huckabee, Christy, or Graham can lose. ANY other GOP can win.

So the Tea Party is “the lesser evil?” Interesting.

Hillery will not lose. Who ever is nominated by the RINO’s will be claimed to have been a pedophile by some Dem operative; the Dem propaganda machine (i.e. mainstream media) will run with it; and the low-information voters will elect her. Case closed.

As intelligent as Michael Bloomberg is ,and he didn’t get to be a billionaire by being stupid,I sincerely believe that the man is insane

No, but many of the people they sent there were. And became greater evils shortly after.

Lest we forget, many TEA candidates were sent there specifically because of the theory that anyone had to be better than the dem they replaced. That was not universally true. Some proved to be as bad or worse when they lined up behind the Mitch/Jonbon crew and gave the dems the same things their own people would have.

Some people will always be corrupted. There is no alternative, short of violent revolution. I for one do not advocate that. And I think if you do, the rules of the site suggest you are not welcome.

Well thanks for looking out for me mom but I have never once advocated anything close to that. And if you can find an instance of me doing so, please post it so we can all revel in my zotting.

Same thing I have since we both came to FR. Find a conservative, vote for them. Don’t waste your vote with psuedocons and rinos that WILL turn on you every time. Don’t vote for open liberals because that’s just idiocy.

Damn near the entire right wing develops a yellow stripe ever election and they convinse themselves the dem is worse and that the world is going to end THIS TIME if they don’t surrender their integrity AGAIN and vote for whatever leftist POS the GOP fronts as the last hope for saving humanity.

All that did, and history shoes the truth here, is make ot OK for the GOP to front increasingly leftist candidates.

So what do we do? Man up, be what we tell the world we are, Conservatives, and vote them in. Period. Not an Obama pne, a real Period. (.)

Don’t say we tried that since we have not since 80/84. And we landslided twice. There are 300,000,000 people in America. Do not EVEN tell me out of 300,000,000 people we can’t find a couple hundred people willing to serve to vote for.

I don't know many people here who have ever said anything different. Most people I've seen post here over the years have echoed William F. Buckley's maxim of vote for the most right-wing candidate who has a legitimate shot to win.

I won't throw a vote away, but I will vote, especially in primaries, for the most conservative candidate I can find. The problem arises after primaries. What do you suggest if it's a less-than-stellar Republican? Vote 3d party? There is some merit in that.

But it also comes with huge pitfalls. I recall a CA race in which a guy named Ed Szachau (sp?) ran against either Boxer or Feinstine. He had a chance to beat her, but he was pro choice. Still, he said he would vote with the GOP majority on all judges. He lost and we lost the senate by a hair, and the result (if I recall all this right) was Ginsberg.

So I'm not opposed to voting third party, but I'm not going to as a rule just waste a vote that will affect a few things positively for the conservative cause even if it won't affect most things positively.

Whether she is a loser or not all depends on who the Republicans nominate.

Saying and doing are different things. Lots of freepers and the base as a whole, say all kinds of chest thumping things for 3 1/2 years and have a come to GOP moment in the final stretch.

EVERY election. It’s not debatable. It’s history. A wasted vote is voting and ‘winning’ only to have your winner do everything you supposedly elected him to oppose. What good exactly is a Pub that votes with and for the Dem agenda? What exactly?
