The article says nothing about how she cooked it - roasted? fricassee? stew?
Also - what were the wine pairings?
What a useless article!

So was there anything in there about “baby deer” or was that just an attention grabbing headline?

"Baby Deer" ...Not!! ... Roe deer are small anyway.
This is a baby Roe deer, notice spots, no horns antlers.

    The headline is a lie.
They killed and ate an adult roe deer (one of the smallest breeds of deer on the planet).
They did NOT kill and eat a “baby” deer.

My place is overrun with deer! She can come and cull the herd anytime!
By the way, what are the laws about deer hunting in her country? That deer does not look like baby, but a two year old spike buck.
Meanwhile, I cooked up some deer stew yesterday from meat taken last fall.

To: cripplecreek
It was just an attention-grabbing bald-faced lie.

    Tree-huggers even here!
Small deer don’t equate to “baby” deer especially toting some antlers. Maybe to the squishy crowd it does.

Gee, human beings hunt, kill animals, and eat them. Or, human beings raise animals, kill them, and eat them. This is downright earth-shattering.
