we aren’t going to deport 11 million people, so it’s time to embrace some form of legalization as the only answer.

Secure the border. Enforce the law. Let the chips fall.

Do that and over time the problem becomes manageable.

Establishment Repubs seem to panic at the thought of actually enforcing the law.

We know what’s gonna happen.

Dems and Latino groups will scream that it’s unfair and say Bush isn’t going far enough and Bush will cave.

I remember Ronald Reagan’s “Eleventh Commandment”: Speak no ill will of fellow Republicans. He not only followed that rule, he was also a great president. Maybe Jeb should figure out how to learn from him.

Who said deport all 11 million? I say, require E-verify and green cards before hiring and see how many will self deport. Oh, and close the border too. Make sanctuary cities illegal and stop government benefits to non-citizens. Then, stand back and watch them leave. Ok, Jeb?
