It’s a cult not a religion . A cult based on murder , martyrdom and hyper intolerance . It should not enjoy protections or definition under the 1st Amendment of the U.S. Constitution . It’s practice and promotion should be banned as a threat to humanity . NO immigration should be allowed to any who follow that cult and no citizenship authorized . Zero
The pagan Gauls got overtaken by pagan Romans and a short time later by Christianized Romans. I see no reason why this wouldn’t happen again, especially as they did not even put up a fight this time around and instead invited them in.

True. None of the gutless politicians on this side of the Atlantic would ever say those words.
We appreciate hard working, skilled immigrants - but islam is a destructive cancer. Their creed tells its followers to destroy their host. Inviting them in, and letting them establish a beachhead, is suicidal.
Unfortunately the West seems to prefer suicide rather than be accused of being 'intolerant'. Hopefully this French mayor's attitude catches on.

Europe has a long tradition of forced expulsions of undesirables. Anyone who things this can’t happen again has no appreciation of history. And please note that these expulsions were due to the “civilizing” influence of Christianity. They replaced the earlier tradition of simple mass slaughter.

Islam is against freedom of religious expression, freedom of speech and other civil rights. It’s antithetical to western laws and culture.
We can hope.
Perhaps a bit of it survived the mud of Verdun.
A rational free society does not tolerate a religion that wants to destroy freedom of religion.
I’ve known some reasonable people who were Moslems but the Moslem faith teaches violence, aggression, subjugation and murder of Christians Jews and other “infidels”. As such, it is the exact opposite of any “religion” familiar to Christians and Jews. Hinduism and Buddhism also do not teach aggression subjugation terrorism and murder. We need to grow up and recognize the enemy for what it is. And get rid of it. ASAP.
