Didn't the Captain of the Costa Concodia cruise ship get 16 years for manslaughter?
I don't see much negligence difference between running into an island and doing 106 mph on a 50 mph curve.

According to the NTSB it accelerated from 70 mph to ~106 in barely over a minute.
