Er, no. Cameron is Britain's John Boehner. But still, half a loaf is better than none.

Maggie Thatcher was Britain's Netanyahu. Britain can only hope that someone like her will come their way again.

Britain does have that someone of stature: Nigel Farage. As for Cameron, Boehner, McConnell and crew, they’re not half a loaf, they’re a pinched loaf.

Oh, and I do know the article was about election results, and not about strength of character. But the Cameron/Netanyahu comparison was just to weird for me to pass on.

You're right. So now the question becomes, will the British people realize that before it's too late?

Apparently 4,000,000 voters (13%) did the other day, the 3rd highest vote getter after the Tories and Labour. Thanks to the neat little setup under their system, it was good for 1 seat in the House of Commons (while the Scottish Nationalists, who got all of 4.8% of the vote, got 56 seats). Talk about disenfranchised.

Even if you agree with Farage on one issue, he’s still a socialist.

Farage’s eurosceptic views come from his background in thew Green Party.

I've noticed something. (Bear with me, you'll get the point.)

The BOLsheviks claimed to be the majority party. They weren't. They seized the moniker and gave the other moniker to the MENsheviks. (Bol- meaning "big", Men- meaning "small" or something akin to that. I don't speak Russian.)

They wrangled the name they wanted because, being savvy about human nature, they seized the print presses and the telegraphs. No way for the opposition to get their word out. The average Russian had no real way of proving they weren't the majority party, and as more and more people flocked to them, they became the majority.

Basically, they became the majority by lying and exaggerating about their own political power.

MY POINT? The Democrat Party in the USA and its media lapdogs CONSTANTLY OVERSTATE DEMOCRAT POLL NUMBERS.

It's obvious the media in the UK plays by the same "overstating" rules that the American Bolshevik media are playing by.

You can't believe a poll conducted by the left wing media.

Which media outlet foresaw the victory of the Conservative Party in the UK? Or if they did, reported it to the people?

Never trust the Bolshevik media.

Let’s face it, except for areas of foreign policy, Thatcher would not be considered conservative in the U.S. She was left wing on social issues. Pro-abortion, pro-gay marriage etc.

I wasn’t aware Thatcher endorsed “gay” marriage. Certainly not during her time as PM.

What absolute nonsense. You are clueless about the man if you think that.

Again, you clearly don’t know what you are talking about.

Farage simply said when he was very young he voted green once.....there is no background in the Green Party.

He has only ever been member of two parties.......the Tories and UKIP...
