That same chart could be used to show the low and no informed voters.

“What is a Latino leader? Are there white leaders? If so where are they?”

Hopefully Cruz (ironically, a Latino) will become our “white leader”. We need one to unify behind as we’re quickly becoming an oppressed class, thanks to the other groups being better organized.

We are beyond the point of being able to split our vote anywhere near 50-50 without the Dems blowing us out of the water. We need to vote 65-35 Republican for Republicans to actually win - and given just how far out in left field the Democrats are, we are now doing that (and much more) in the South (see my home page for numbers).

But I get your point - groups where one can easily identify a “leader” are easily manipulated...people in those groups need to throw that yoke off and get the media to do the same.

This is almost exactly what Marc Hanna, Chairman of the Republican National Committee, did in 1896 to woo immigrants into the Republican Party. It worked so well that when the old Republican Civil War coalition frayed that year, Hanna's new coalition kept the Republicans in power until 1932.

The three largest population states have 37% Hispanic (California, Texas) or 24% Florida.

They are also the 3 states with the largest numeric population gains.

Courting Hispanic identity voters is essential, if the GOP is to compete.

Illegal immigrants make up only a minority of the total, so to “slur” them all is considered an insult.
