The problem I have with all of these “police get pissed off at someone recording them” is that the “someone” is always being an obnoxious ass. That doesn’t make it OK, granted, but it’s also not surprising when the cop has had enough and (as humans do) responds accordingly.

Do you think that in his life, he’s never done anything like that before?
Something that he got away with, and never came up on his background check to be a Marshall?
Right. That’s who he really is.
A lawbreaker himself. But now it comes out because he’s become vain: he thinks he can’t be held accountable for his behavior.
How much does this actually happen? Now that cellphones are everywhere?
Obviously the denials of the past were just coverups.

If the police are not polite and respectful, they fully deserve to have their own attitude mirrored back.
I am old enough to remember when the police didn’t act like steroid abusers.
So no, there is zero excuse available to them relating to the reciprocal attitudes reflected right back at them.

Yes it is surprising, the cop isn't at his home or on his weekend off, he is in full uniform and at work, and armed to the teeth, emotional outbursts, especially using violence like this one, cannot be tolerated.
This cop has emotional issues that should exclude him from this kind of work.
