The market is hot. It's a lot of money, but some wealthy person will buy it. The area is like Manhattan, high-rises popping up everywhere, with a low vacancy rate. I used to work in the buildings just to right of center in the picture, at One Market Street. I looked out at the bay from my desk watching sailboats go by. As part of my duties sometimes me and my crew would check on microwave equipment on the roof, a height comparable to this condo. Commanding views of the entire region for many miles in all directions, simply beautiful to take in. The rich have no problem spending money for a great view, considering they pay cash for places half that cost without a view.
Entrepreneur? The University? The 40 or so non profits that are trying to save the planet? Oracle? The multiple ski areas? Landscaping?
In essence, you can work for a company or carve a niche...
