You are being astonishingly naive if you don’t recognize the fact that in the ritalin video game era, many American kids simply refused to do the dirty work. Everything was “college college college” - whereas most dirty jobs skills are learned on the job or in vocational schools.

And BTW, Rowe is not just some TV host. How naive again. He’s an expert on blue collar industries. That’s how he got the GIG!!!!!

Spot on...

I might add they not only refuse to do dirty work, it's they can't...real work or labor normally takes some type of actual muscle mass to accomplish...

Next time you are in a mall, look at the young men, many of them are shells of skin and bone or fat tubes of lard......

Years of sitting on their arse playing games and doing nothing physical...

He got the gig because he was a QVC host in place when they were launching those shows. Before that he was a professional singer.

He was a singer until he did 5 years of investigative reporting ON THIS VERY ISSUE for a local TV station in SF area. It was during that time he became an expert on it. It was after THAT he got the “Dirty Jobs” gig.

Nice try though.....
