Yes,although it never occurred to me that too could be a factor.Perhaps Indians and other Asians can be divided into two groups...the ones who are physicians,scientists and computer experts (the group I had in mind) and those who own a 7/11 or some similar type of family business.Both groups would be juicy targets for thieves.
The fact that white folks in both states tend to be pretty heavily armed probably has something to do with it.
also people from less developed countries are far less trusting of banks and will keep a stash at home

There were a series of robberies and home invasions here in No. Virginia. They targeted Indians, Pakistanis and Chinese because these targets were known to have gold jewelry, bullion and cash.
Seems that a year or so ago, some female son of obama wrecked her car and was beating on doors at zero dark early in the AM trying to get in. Guy answered the door and shot her to death through the screen. Guy was convicted of murder but I think he was on to the MO.
I wonder if this is related to several cases like this in New Jersey. I thought I heard that people had been arrested for the NJ crimes, but I’m not 100% sure.
