OK!! Everybody pay attention!

Lesson for today:

1. The sun is 1,300,000 times as big as the earth.

2. The sun is a ball of fire that controls the climates of all its planets.

3. The earth is one of the sun’s planets.

4. The earth is a speck in comparison to the size of the sun.

5. Inhabitants of the earth are less than specks.

Study Question: How do less-than-specks in congress plan to control the sun?

If only it was contained within the Episcopal church - at least one past Pope and the current one have made similar statements about being good stewards of the Earth that we not destroy it via global warming, etc. It makes me wonder if they believe in God and His Word - if what He says is true, we will not destroy the earth and go instinct - He has already told us how things will go down.

Religious "leaders" need to stick with carrying the Word to the peoples of the Earth - not getting into these side issues - it makes Satan grin from horn to horn./..

Yes the mathematics, science and engineering are really available for analysis.

http://www.forbes.com/sites/timworstall/2013/11/04/despite-fukushima-nuclear-power-really-is-the-only-way-to-beat-climate-change/

You can easily search with Google and find that all “green” power technologies use as much or more carbon than fossil fuels, or are so variable and unreliable as to require additional reliable power plants as backup.

All of the arguments against nuclear power basically boil down to : it’s icky. There are power plant designs that cannot melt down, designs that burn today’s nuclear waste down to 1% residue, and designs that use thorium instead of uranium.

Nuclear power is by far the safest, most economical, most environmentally responsible technology available. It’s reputation has been ruined by stupid and unsafe designs that were intended solely to produce material for weaponry, and a moron President named Carter who signed an Executive Order preventing using nuke waste as fuel.
