Maddow sees the Boy Scouts as a modern day Hitler’s Youth.
It’s about anyone but Them influencing our youth.
And Obama’s proud of it.
Making arguments like this is just asking to be mocked, like his statement about unions and ISIS.
A candidate should prove he’s ready to be President by blowing people away with brilliant answers to questions, not going on and on about his “story.”
Walker: “Being a Scout is not something of the past, it’s something that you are.”
It certainly trumps being a community organizer.
My thoughts exactly; he certainly is more “American” than somebody who spent their life with open palm outstretched...
He probably knows the Pledge of Allegiance as well.
I agree...and I was never a Scout

Gerald Ford was the first Eagle Scout to become POTUS.
But not the first Mason, by any means.
He credited the Scouts with helping build him early on as a leader... and THIS is what the lefturds emerge with? At least it was something wholesome and edifying, vs the madrassa the POS occupier of the White House attended.
Royal Ambassadors
As an Eagle, and Brotherhood Order of the Arrow, I applaud Scott Walker’s drive of dedication it takes to achieve such. As an adviser to the Royal Ambassadors group in our church, I called upon my experiences to help that group.
To 2nd Division Vet, I too traveled a great deal during my association with the Scouts. California, North Carolina, France, New Jersey, and Ohio.
You do know that you are the one who made that leap, not Walker?
Being an Eagles Scout alone already made him more qualified than Obama was in 2008
Gov. Perry was also an Air Force pilot.
Well, we’ve seen what a member of the Choom gang can do, so most of us would take the Eagle Scout as preferable.
Nobody cares.
What matters is what he will do as President.
Being an Eagle Scout was a stepping stone for my personal success.
It gave me budding leadership experience.
It gave me life skills.
It gave me a foundation in organizing and planning.
As a young man there are few places where you get that kind of a head start.
But, the media think that being a Boy Scout means you are a homo hating nerd.
Taken out of context his comment may sound absurd. In reality, I agree with him.
