I thought they said he had no executive experience? What else are they lying about?

He worked in the Bush administration? I thought he is conservative?
To: nickcarraway
Lots of conservatives work in Republican administrations. Example: Pat Buchanan.

He will be the first R I’ve donated to since 2008. Oops I did donate some to Newt in 2012. Forgot about that.

Pat Buchanan? I’ll pass, thank you.
He and Obama share a hatred of Israel and Jews.

I was just using him as an example that came to mind quickly. Many conservatives have worked for moderate Republicans.

"If this early period of Cruzs career is any guide, a Cruz presidency would feature a sustained push to roll back federal regulations..."And that explains why many Republicans hate Ted Cruz just as much as Democrats do. They hated Ronald Reagan for the same reason. Cruz threatens their way of life, which is plunder and graft. Viva Cruz!

So working for a GOP President automatically means you are not a conservative, enough if everything you did while serving demonstrates conservative principles? That's an interesting, albeit, knee-jerk conclusion. Hey, it's not like he was President and chose a Bush to be his VP.
