This is entirely a moot point since pro-Gramsci academics have there own evidence/reason why this never occurred, thus ignore the point which makes this all moot in the first place.
If true good for Gramsci's soul, however the disciples of Gramsci still pound and ground the hegemonic warfare Gramsci pushed.

Once a culture is cleansed and replaced by aggressive invading foreigners and/or communists, there is nothing remaining to save. We are there now. America remains only in the memory of some older natives.
