It's not enough to have to put up with junior's crapPlease explain just what crap this child gave the teachers? I guess reading comprehension isn't your strong suit.

Here's the auto response I received back from the school district. Looks like some serious CYA is going on. The system realizes they screwed up now that the sun is shining on their abuse.
If your email is regarding concerns related to Lincoln Elementary, please refer to the following response: Over the past few days, there has been considerable general and social media attention regarding the Lincoln Elementary School Attendance/Tardy Catch-up Protocol. Thursday afternoon, Principal Fitzsimmons was able to meet with both parents to discuss their concerns. The meeting was productive. The parents concerns were politely discussed and, ultimately, the issues were resolved to the satisfaction of both the parents and the school. All parties involved believe that an appropriate resolution has been reached and are anxious to move forward with their normal daily routines. As a result of the concerns raised, the District ended the learning catch up location at Lincoln Elementary School. Going forward, a separate, supervised classroom has been designated for necessary catch-up work. The District and Lincoln Elementary will continue to work with families on an individual basis to encourage and promote student attendance. Thank you for your concerns.

teachers across the country are out of control towards young boys & if you owned any you would be aware of that and if you don’t then maybe you should keep your snide remarks to your family
To: CGASMIA68
Your talking to a teacher who has carried down the family tradition, but thanks anyway.

He is a first-grader. He didn’t do anything wrong. Why punish him?
Remember when teachers used to punish the entire class for the actions of one student? That wasn’t right, either.
Punish those responsible. Period.

I agree. They make me sick, too.

Those who can, do; those who can’t, teach....
Your also wrong on this issue as the posts indicate..

According to most of Free Republic protocol no child with a parent who is not absolutely perfect in every way is allowed any slack. That 7 year old should force his mother to drive him to school on time or else! No wonder the world is as it is.

How much “catching up” is necessary for one minute? Aren’t the first few minutes for roll call and announcements? They were when I was in elementary school.
To: bgill
“Your talking”??? Teacher - really??? I think I see the problem.
To: defconw
I am compassionate for my wife and other teachers like her who put in 60 hr weeks trying to educated children while dealing with parents like you who think discipline and behaviour problems should be solved by the schools instead of the responsible parent.
Look at yourself. Your fist reaction is to blame the school and excuse the offending party. That is not compassion, that is stupidity!

He's 7, make her sit there for a minute behind cardboard. I guess that makes sense, ruin a seven year oldâs day over a minute. I'll thank you not to call me stupid. BTW, I would never allow a child of mine to go to a public school, ever.

The poor little guy probably missed a minute or two learning about the Pillars of Islam, or where to find the G-spot, or how to stop being a micro-racist. You know, all that important stuff they teach in public school.

Punish those responsible. Period. Indeed! We should punish the teachers for not promptly going down to momma's place and fixing her car.
To: Ethan Clive Osgoode
That was a dumb response.
To: cynwoody
Abolish government schools.
Then abolish private schools.
All school is a hoax.
To: ilovesarah2012
Still waiting on how you’re going to punish mommy dearest.
