I would suppose the fact the entire country is surrounded by shark infested waters has something to do with that.

A couple of things.
Almost half the illegal aliens in the USA got here by aircraft, and are simply overstaying their visas. There are direct flights to the USA from just about every country in the world—or at least every major metropolitan area, and often several per day from the same place.
Now it is a pain to fly to Australia. I know. I’ve done it. The flight is long for one thing and access is controlled before you even leave your departing airport. And there really isn’t that many flights compared to the USA.
But the Aussies are correct—you can discourage them from even trying. The democrats laughed at Gingrich and Romney back in 2012 for saying that the illegals here would mostly self-deport if we made things hard for them. Looks like the Republicans were right.
The left treats this as a major scandal. Australia sends these immigrants to other countries.
My thought was similar: sort of hard to swim across several hundred or thousands of miles to get across the border and into the country.

If it was found that the Hispanic vote went 60/40 for the GOP the border would be shut tight within two weeks. Chain migration would be stopped and anchor babies would be challenged all the way to the SC.

She says Australia sent children, some as young as four, to the camp on Friday and Saturday, just days after the release of a damning report on the abuses they face.
In the report the Australian Human Rights Commission says Canberra’s policy of indefinitely detaining children in Nauru is in clear violation of international human rights law.
I think that Australia has elected a government that carries out the wishes of its people, who prefer to follow the rule of law. This is in stark contrast to the USA.
I cannot say whether disorder will win in the USA but it certainly is out in front as we allow illegals into our country, two illegals for each job.
No concern at all for the unemployed citizens of the USA, especially blacks. As long as we have low information voters we will continue the path to certain chaos.

Australia Immigration Department denies it has approved a Sirul tell-all interview on murder
The Department of Immigration has said that it has not approved any tell-all televison interviews with a police commando sentenced to hang in Kuala Lumpur who is currently held at Sydney’s Villawood detention centre.
