Vladimir Putin Says Russia's Military Might Has No Match

Well, considering:

1. the US military leadership in this country is based on politics,

2. that the CIC is Bath House,

3. that women are in Ranger training,

4. that the US military focuses on social engineering and transgender rights

5. that the US nuclear deterrence is obsolete, outdated and chopped to the bone

6. that US ROE are smothering our own troops

7. that lawyers are a key component of the US battlefield

who am I to argue with Putin.

Defenders' of the Fatherland Day

Hmm. I recall the Russians always using the term "Motherland", with "Fatherland" being more attributed to the Nazis.

I guess the lines are getting a bit blurry.

So, this must be why obamaumao told Medvedev to tell Pootie Poot he’d be more “flexible”. Flexible like Little Richard’s a@@-hole. So the russians can lead him from behind as it were. Taking it in the uh rear.

As long as 0bama is the POTUS even Bali can talk tough about their military.

Mother Russia can’t project conventional military power very far beyond their border. They had a fairly difficult time in Georgia, as recently as 2008. On the other hand, they are the only nuclear power, that I am aware of, that boasts about that capability. Whether or not they really plan to use it is uncertain, and I think Putin uses that as leverage.

Thank you.

While it pains me to say so, with the current US commander in chief who micro-manages everything, I agree. If we had a decent man and leader as a President, then I would disagree and say the US was more than a match.

It would be interesting to know the inner thoughts of the top military brass as they watch their commander-in-chief cripple and dismantle the nation’s military, in preparation for its destruction, and theirs. We know what our elected representatives think. They think its cool, since they are free to speak out, unlike the military, and they never say a word.

The only reason why the Russians during the Soviet Union era had a credible nuclear deterrent was their ICBM force with nearly 1,500 launch sites—we now know that their ballistic missile submarine force were not paragons of reliability and they didn’t have a big bomber force like the USAF did up until the end of the Cold War.

In an ultimate military showdown the only thing that matters is nuclear throw-weight and quality.

Armies, navies, supplies, wealth...none of that matters when the balloon goes up.

My ranking of various nuclear powers throw-weigh and quality is thus.

Russia
USA
Israel
France
Britain
India
Pakistan
N.Korea
.
.
.
Iran (way at the bottom)

It’s easy to thumb your nose at the big dog when he is heavily chained. The problem is when the next “owner” of the dog unlooses the chains (and figuratively, the dogs of war). Remember what happened when Reagan won - the nose-thumbers did a very quick turnaround...
