Not the least bit surprised Texas is #3. Property taxes are outlandish. Those are killing us at nearly 30% of our take home pay and that’s for an old dinky house on a small lot out in the country so no city taxes. All thanks to Kalifornians and the like moving in with their high real estate ideas.

I cannot believe GA didn’t make the list. If it moves they tax it. State income tax. sales taxes up the wazoo. You have not lived until you pay the ad valorum tax on your vehicle for the first I just paid $175 on a 2006 CRV. That’s what you pay for a tag.
