Not only the pot, but he was caught with BEER in his car!
Send him right to jail, no trial necessary.

No. He developed some sense and a good character in adulthood, unlike the Kennedys and Clintons.

Don’t you just love the ideas that liberal reporters have about the Tea Party? Half the Tea Party probably smoked pot at some point in their lives. But to Lib reporters, the Tea Party has been twisted, with zero basis in reality, into the same old stereotypical old, white Christian scold who faints at the sight of a woman in a dress that shows her ankle.

“I think Cruz is safe on that issue”
Not as long as the MSM is running the show. They’ll use this, as well as the Canadian-birth issue you mentioned. The truth, i.e., Clinton’s and Hussein’s drug use, will never be known by the run-of-the-mill voter. Any negative part of Cruz’ history will be covered 24/7. The mouth-breathing, knuckle-dragging dolts (who vote) pay attention only to “American Idol”, “Family Guy”, MSNBC, and video games and will remain clueless about politics. Only the political junkies will know the truth.
That fact, along with the democrats’ art of voter fraud, will make it difficult for any decent person to win.

Teen pot use...so he's a ticking time bomb of psychosis? No thanks, Mr. Cruz. Based on what some FReepers have said about pot use, I expect Cruz to go on welfare and start stealing within the next few weeks.

Cheating at school? Racial jokes? Adultery? Speeding? Running red lights at 2am? Where does it end?

The male town bigot and the Church lady are the stereotypes that I think many on the left like to think of the typical Tea Partier.

Will the Tea Party Abandon Ted Cruz Now That His Teen Pot Experimentation Has Been Exposed? Crucify Ted Cruz for being the only one who was completely up-front and honest about the question? Why on earth would we want them to do that? Isn't being candid and honest something we want to encourage in our politicians?

I didn't smoke pot as a teen, but I was around people who did. Plus I did equally stupid other things which I will not list.
I suspect everyone has a similar story.

And it's rumored he used an anti-gay slur in the 7th grade.

This is one of the few areas that I disagree with Ted Cruz. The H-1b visa program is nothing more than a corporate welfare scheme.

LOL. That cannot be a serious question.

And it's rumored he used an anti-gay slur in the 7th grade. Well, that finishes it. I guess I'll have to vote for Jeb.

And don't forget Johnny Carson's Floyd R. Turbo.

So now we're against LEGAL IMMIGRATION too? If the kids in this country would study half as hard as the Indians, Koreans, Chinese and Filipinos, we wouldn't need H1Bs or at least not very many. But they don't! They graduate with social work, Africana studies, education and Medieval Literature degrees, when they graduate at all, so we have to import people to do the engineering, computer, medical and scientific work that needs to be done to keep us competitive. Don't blame the immigrants for that, blame the lazy US students.

I think Barry Goldwater once said something like, “If we ran everybody out of Washington who ever got drunk or shacked up with a woman, it would be a ghost town.”
