Good Lord!
Damn
Doesn’t look good with that tipped wing. First report said “ditched” in the River. When I think of “ditched”, I think of Sully and the Hudson landing.
Doesn’t look good for survivors.

Not to mention all the bits and pieces that seem to be flying in the air (I assume, after the impact).
Yep. Link says 12 survivors with at least 10 trapped in plane. Twitter rumors that Govt. Officials on plane. I have not seen that officially.
58 on board. Mayday call. Engine out. Wing clipped a taxi. Flight GE235. Flightaware data, it’s a flight from Taipei to Kinmen.

Flightaware just took off flight data for Feb. 4th on this plane.
Live feed. Not good.

I that a problematic plane?
The dash cam footage is frightening. I’m assuming this was on take off? Taipei Songshan Airport.

Looks like B-24 high wing lift. My uncle flew B 17s, didn’t like 24s.
Looks terrifying and almost as if it was going to hit the buildings.
It is known to have problems with icing conditions...not an issue in Taiwan tho..

The Taiwan police have a hovercraft...
Doesn’t look very good. Lying on it’s back, looks like the front half got crushed.
