Has anyone else noticed foreigners moving into their areas? This invasion is massive. Illegal, but well orchestrated and nationwide. Sssshhhh, it’s a secret.

could be either or both
but from what we see,

nearly anyone can just fly into USA on a tourist visa and stay forever

also,
the borders are open

also,
same for student visas

For clarification, these 5.5 million EADs over five years are "Employment Authorization Documents", otherwise known as "work permits". They are issued temporarily, for a specific time period, usually in the months, while some other pending adjustment of status takes place. For example, if the foreign national/resident spouse of a U.S. citizen/resident has completed most of the process toward obtaining a Green Card, for example their I-130 has been approved, the USCIS may issue an EAD to that foreign national so that they may join their spouse in the U.S. and begin working pending approval of their Green Card.

Since the EADs are temporary, the number is not cumulative. Specifically, issuing 5.5 million EADs over five years does not result in any additional outstanding work permits after five years. EADs are just temporary way-stations during other applications.

I can't see a poltical issue here. I am concerned that articles like this are suckering conservatives into embarrassing themselves and their cause.

No no, that's wrong. It's "Impeach, try, convict and execute for Treason".

The code is quite clear:

18 U.S. Code § 2381 - Treason

"Whoever, owing allegiance to the United States, levies war against them or adheres to their enemies, giving them aid and comfort within the United States or elsewhere, is guilty of treason and shall suffer death, or shall be imprisoned not less than five years and fined under this title but not less than $10,000; and shall be incapable of holding any office under the United States."

Releasing 5 Taliban commanders for a traitor is 5 acts of treason right there. Protecting the traitor Bowe Bergdahl is 6. Assisting foreign invaders is 7. Arming, assisting and defending Al-Qaeda in the killing 4 Americans is 4 more acts of treason for a total of 11 thus my tagline..........

Re: “the majority of new tech companies in SillyCon Valley are now started by foreigners...”

A badly tortured statistic, I'm afraid.

Most tech companies have multiple founders, and quite often one of them will be foreign born.

The Center for Immigration Studies has published frequently on this issue.

Nationally, less than 20% of tech company founders are foreign born, which is right in line with the number of foreign born USA workers, which is around 17%.

It's also important to remember that foreign STEM graduates from elite USA universities typically come from wealthy countries and return home within a few years.

The foreign STEM Ph.D's who stay typically come from second tier USA universities, and most of them are second tier students from China, India, Iran, eastern Europe, and Russia who desperately want USA citizenship.

The majority of new tech firms being foreigners is a SillyCon Valley stat per the San Jose Mercury News newspaper. Most engineers do not have doctoral degrees. The working degree is the bachelors although a respectable percentage of engineers do go on for a masters (a phenom advocated by Stanford especially ). I’d prefer We could keep the small number of phd’s from elite universities and send all the less-spectacularly- educated ones home ( so that the many Americans seeking employment could have better chances ). But, that’s not the corporate agenda and so won’t happen anytime soon. It’s socially cancerous for a govt to treat it’s citizens this way but the more powerful it gets the more damage it can get away with inflicting on them.

This federal government is essentially at war with U. S. Citizens.

When Obama was campaigning I said that if he was elected he would have no intention of leaving office.

After he was elected I stated that we had just witnessed a Bloodless Coup d'état, what I didn't predict was that the feckless GOPe would actually openly participate in the completion of the Coup.

I mourn for the Republic and our Children and Grand Children that we sent to government schools to be indoctrinated to a point that they will gladly work to undo the greatest Nation that ever existed, in the modern world.

Of course, a person might study engineering just because they enjoy it....

Eh, that would be me. A masochist in some ways, I suppose? And, yes, it was VERY tough after I got laid off in 2008 (company collapsed due to poor planning for the overseas competition, plus the overall economy crashed).

1 and 2 are absolutely untrue in the “very large firm” I work in.
