I just bumped a transcript about Scott Walker you posted from November. Glad to see this one as I did not hear all the show today.

“Amnesty” can mean many things. Is it a complete excusing of the illegal means by which the individual either entered the country of overstayed a visa? It is the imposing of some of penalty for “jumping the line” but allowing an eventual path to citizenship? Is it a path to citizenship that is being offered, or only a long-term legalized residency, while NEVER becoming a citizen?

Amnesty certainly does not (or should not) include releasing convicted felons from prison onto the streets.

I like what Walker has done in Wiscinsin, but!

Not happy about his support for amnesty. It might be a deal breaker for me.

I’m done with Rush. Sometimes he claims to care about illegal immigration, and then he goes all GOPe about the most pro-amnesty and open borders candidate the GOP has.

Rush has no credibility.

It’s definitely a deal breaker—it’s actually a country breaker—for me.

It’s a massive issue for me, too. There have been five deaths in my immediate vicinity from three separate incidents, due to drunk-driving illegals or illegals fleeing from police after committing robberies. Three of the deaths were children. One included the toddler nephew of a good friend of mine.

When I hear a politician that is weak on this issue, I immediately think of those deaths and the blood spilled. Sometimes I don’t even think I have the proper words to express my intense contempt for these so-called leaders and what they’ve turned the country into. And yet, I see posters all the time who seem to think this is no big deal. Just some single-issue nonsense spouted by cranks. To such people I sincerely hope they meet the same grim fate as those innocent souls who left their blood and sinew ground into the concrete pavement near me.

This issue will easily comprise almost half of the factoring as to whom I’ll vote for, or even whether I’ll vote. The other half is homo-marriage. A candidate unwilling to fight this kind of evil depravity is not a candidate I’ll ever support. So far, judging from his own statements, I’m not impressed by Walker on these two issues.

Isn't Ted Cruz still a "subject of the Queen" with Canadian citizenship? Oh that's right, he supposedly finally got around to renouncing his dual Canadian Citizenship sometime last year. No thanks. Senators don't make good presidential candidates and foreigners don't make good presidents.

P.S. Calling in that much help on your reply makes you look desperate.

Oh Really!?!?!

Before you post, you really should bone up on your history.

Following is the list of Senators, who were not Governors before they came President.

Are you really going to argue that both James Monroe and John Quincy Adams were crappy Presidents?

Furthermore, Ted Cruz IS a natural-Born citizen per the constitution, US Law, and all Supreme Court Rulings.

Your ignorance is showing buddy!

Bug-off BLOW-HARD!

To date, sixteen senators have also served as president of the United States. Three senators, Warren G. Harding, John F. Kennedy, and Barack Obama moved directly from the U.S. Senate to the White House.

Actually, I made a mistake, that was the list of Senators who became President, some of which also were Governors.

However, John Quincy Adams was NOT a Governor before he became President and as President he did the following:

As president he sought to modernize the American economy and promote education. Adams enacted a part of his agenda and paid off much of the national debt.[7] However he was stymied time and again by a Congress controlled by his enemies, and his lack of patronage networks helped politicians eager to undercut him. He lost his 1828 bid for re-election to Andrew Jackson.

Adams is best known as a diplomat who shaped America's foreign policy in line with his ardently nationalist commitment to America's republican values. More recently, he has been portrayed as the exemplar and moral leader in an era of modernization. During Adams' lifetime, technological innovations and new means of communication spread messages of religious revival, social reform, and party politics. Goods, money, and people traveled more rapidly and efficiently than ever before.[8]

You were blubbering something about Senators don't make good presidential candidates?

Man enough to retract that crap?
