I wonder if she appreciates how many Viet vets will be urinating on her grave after she’s gone.
1 - Your revealed to the enemy a list of POW SSNs that were handed to you by a prisoner with the hopes you would forward the information to American authorities.
False-according to many sources, including the POWs
2 - When a POW insulted you rather than cooperate with your anti-American propaganda video, you told the enemy Somebody ought to teach him some manners.
Probably false
A country that doesn’t hang its traitors ends up electing them.
Just in case some don’t recall or know why Jane Fonda should still be charged with treason; Not only did she vista North Viet Nam but during her visit to the Hanoi Hilton the American POWs were lined up and she walked down the line of those men, looked them in the eye and shook their hands. A few of those brave men slipped her notes as they shook hands. At the end, Jane Fonda turned and blatantly handed the notes to one of the enemy soldiers. It was reported those men were severely punished afterward.
I dated a chick that moved to Frederick... it’s a lefty town BIG TIME. I will say that the venue that Jane Fonda apparently spoke at, the Weinberg Center is lovely. They have a pipe organ at that theater and I attended a showing of the silent classic film The Flesh and the Devil... accompanied by the theater organ, which raises up out of a pit at center stage.
If it is liberal it is due to the evil DCer commiecrats shifting up 270 to get away from the hellhole they created. Soon Frederick will be destroyed by them, as well.
I hope my mother doesn’t live to see it truly liberal. She loved it going to college there. That was then (yikes - same age as Hanoi Jane!).
Jane Fonda is a lowlife traitor. She was more than old enough to know better and I for one will never forget it.
Well, Hanoi Jane, treason is forever. And you have never been called to account for it.
I still can clearly recall the time I first heard of her being in the north. I was in Saigon at the time and had been in the south since May of ‘66. It was a profoundly powerful emotional shock.
Disbelief that someone I held so dearly could do such a thing by just her physical presence there let alone all the rest.
It was so disgusting to me that her banishment from my heart was immediate, effortless and complete. I have never had such an experience before or after in my 72 years with any other persons actions.
Is that old hag still alive?
Jane Fonda is a lowlife traitor.
Makes one wonder whether HENRY her father was not a TRAITOR as well..
I doubt he was a traitor but don’t know, he enlisted in the Navy for WWII and served three years.
I don’t remember Henry Fonda ever addressing Jane’s actions one way or the other but may have been unaware of it if he did.
Yes, she made a mistake. However I would like to hear from her lips what kind of mistake. The mistake that she made defaming American Troops, or the mistake that she made that got her caught. In all theses years, I have never heard an apology to the troops, just sorrow for her negative feedback.
What about handing the POW’S messages, slipped to her, over to their Vietnam Cong prison guards?
That works for me, I will add to the ocean in her memory, and I won't have to travel far.
Works for all of us - thanks for your reply !
In my mind, there is no statute of limitation on treason.
If that’s the case, I would propose the Jane Fonda Memorial Urinal, complete with an appropriate version of a memorial statue...kind of an eternal flame kind of thing, but without a flame.
