Sharpton plans on sticking up the Academy Awards to lighten their wallets of some cash because this is the second time in 15 years that no blacks were nominated for Oscars. He's called an emergency meeting of his extortion task force to address the problem and make plans to mug Hollywood.

I’d like to complain about professional and college football.

Black people are only about two out of every ten Americans, but most football players seem to be Negroes. That doesn’t show much commitment to diversity, creates a hostile work environment and some other buzz words.

And basketball? Fuggedaboutit!

Maybe there just weren’t all that many great black performers and movies this year.

Maybe blacks were too busy running around with their hands up to go to the movies, so the good black movies didn’t get enough attention.

You’re so right! LBJ was basically painted into a corner by the Republicans to sign off on the civil rights bill.

I think he finally saw how that would benefit the Democrats and later said something like... ‘Now the Democrats will own the n*****s for a hundred years’. (that’s paraphrasing from an old man’s memory, but it’s fairly close)
