"Terrible coffee but I know some prefer it over the competitors."

Your mileage may very, however, one of the relatives has a retired coffee taste tester in his Senior clatch of friends and he says it is good coffee.

While the Shareholders will love this, I wonder if here stateside has anyone noticed the following. DD's is becoming more of a Sandwich Shop that sells coffee and their display area for real Donuts has diminished greatly. You can't get an old fashioned Donut anymore. Gone are the Cinnamon Donuts and Crawlers and a host of other Classics.

Speaking of Classics, this maybe the best Donut shop in the US, and stepping in the place is like stepping into the 50's, Donut Dip in West Springfield Mass. Homer Simpson would go into a Donma, a Donut induced Coma they are so good...

Mean while Penny’s, Sears, and a 0’care call center are either closing of shedding jobs. Military is being downsized before they can reach retirement of 20 yrs. To make room for the ILLEGALS.

I suppose China will let them put sprinkles on the donuts there, unlike what the “food police” is trying to do here.

I heard a lot about their coffee, so bought a bag at the local grocery - didn’t really care for it. I buy Kirkland Signature (Columbian or Samoan usually, sometimes Guatemalan) at Costco. I like it and I just bought a 3 pound bag of Columbian last night for $16.99 (used to be a few dollars less, but coffee prices have increased the past few years). I have a grinder at home, but it makes a mess, so I just grind the whole bag in the large grinder they have there.
