One may hope this is a Kasserine Pass...despite the terrible losses, our country learned a lot about warfighting there.
That we could advance on our own mistakes here...
Reject ALL liberal Republicans.
Sorry, but if you schedule a rally for the 5th of January anywhere near my latitude, nobody is going to show up. Dems da breaks.
> humiliating political defeat
I think it is better characterized as “betrayal”. It will become humiliating if after such betrayal people come back for more.
Some of us are happy to keep fighting.

It’s a big war with many fronts, perhaps we are gaining ground.
Unfortunately, we are the makers. The producers.
We can’t rally or protest for everything.
In fact, we can only afford one or two serious rallies a year.
The rest of the time, we have to work.
Millions of Welfare recipients depend on us and that is a pretty serious responsibility.
there are about 13 million conservatives that are pissed right now. Let me predict that we will win in the end. The Rino class is not going to get our vote. We are staying home h
. There is no difference at all between hillary and a bushie. Amnesty loving tax raising — totally the same. Im out on both. Im ready for a well funded serious third party. Needs 1 billion dollars. I will now pray for it. I stayed home on that damned romney. He is totally finished so now they trot out little boy bushie. Ain’t gonna happen. WE DEMAND A CONSERVATIVE!!
I appreciate your zeal but I can’t agree. Thousands of rallies could have been held and nothing would have changed. In fact, last November a huge rally was held and the senate was given to the republicans and the number of republicans in the house grew. If that didn’t get their attention I don’t believe a rally the size of Martin Luther King’s would have made a difference.
It’s going to take more than rallies. And it’s going to take more than elections.
We will continue to lose until we stop supporting the GOPe
I am no longer a Republican. I am a Conservative and will not vote for a candidate because they have an R by their name.
I’m sorry that people said they would do something and then didn’t follow through.
It’s quite common though. I served on a large city marathon committee. If we needed 300 volunteers for race day, we stopped signing people up at 500.
Tepid activist turnout isn’t the problem for conservatives. The problem for conservatives is that there are so few of us. We overestimate our numbers which leads us to expect to project power that doesn’t exist.
That includes Hugh Hewitt, the so-called conservative talk show host. I was listening to a segment of his show today and twice he referred to those in the house trying to defeat Boehner as “dissidents”. Dissidents Hugh? The only time I ever heard that word used was in the old Soviet Union days when you had a few brave souls like Andrei Sakharov speak out against the Kremlin. Someone tipped me that Hewitt was a RINO and now I know.
