Just finished doing the snow blowing. While I was doing that my 95 year old neighbor was walking down our road. At least 2ft deep. Almost waited to long to snow blow. Won’t do that again.
official total 15.6 inches last night and 6 inches the day before. That is why my name here is coldone!!! lol

I would not leave my house if snow is on the ground. I would hunker down until spring. Bears are really smart.
Once I put away my sled, and walking up hill was more work than the worth of the ride down the hill, I have no positive thing about snow. Even snowball fights are less fun than squirt gun fights. Snow gets in your gloves, then soaks in. You tire easily, and fall in the snow, too tired to stand up, and there you lay, freezing due to the snow melting in your gloves then refreezing.
Once you regain your strength, you get back in the house and the wife bitches about the mess you are making with melting snow, then after you undress from the boots, gloves, scarf, coat, and whatever else, your wife asks you to take out the trash, with the remark, “You had your fun, so do some work.” Those moments are when you agree with Chris Rock, “I’m not saying it’s right, but I understand.”
