The writer is an idiot on many levels.
And that shouting girl is an incredible dingbat.
To call her outrageously inconsiderate of another person would be the least one could say.
Whatever the issue in politics, it does not excuse this behavior. The officer is doing an admirable job maintaining his professional demeanor in front of this raving idiot.

No mention in her article that NYPD and the professional radical protesters of NYC have decades of experience dealing with each other and have long since worked what is and is not allowed at one of these 1st Amendment protest events.

The only privilege that the young lady has is that she and the cop know the rules. Very dramatic action for the camera but it is all street theater.

However, cross the line...say, shove or punch a cop...and things change.
