Shooting that killed 16-year-old Paige Stalker may have been attempted robbery(Christmas in Detroit)

I think the most likely scenario is that these teenagers were simply looking for a relatively secluded place to pull over and smoke a doobie.

Rather than park on a populated street lined with street lights and residents all too willing to call the cops to report suspicious activity, they simply drove three blocks outside of Grosse Pointe and pulled onto a side street where most of the houses are gone and the lights are all out.

The gangsta sees the car sitting there decides to either rob them or just kill them. I’m reminded of a night time shooting that occurred about a year and a half ago on Outer Drive, maybe 2 miles away from this spot. A father and his son were in their SUV stopped at a red light on Outer Drive near Alter when someone walked up to their car and opened fire.

And about 8 years ago a friend’s daughter was on her way home from her 2nd shift nursing job when she was stopped at the light on Cadieux and Outer Drive and two men walked up to her car in an attempted car jacking then fired at her as she took off. She barely escaped being hit when the bullet struck the side piller on the passenger side……..
