Don’t forget the order will that will come down. No more of these sales on coveted shoes will be allowed, as they are the cause of the problem.
“16-year-old Jawaad Jabbar got out a gun and demanded merchandise from the men. One of the men, who police say had a valid concealed carry license, produced his gun and shot Jabbar. Jabbar died from injuries sustained from the gunshot.”
In a better world, the man with the concealed carry license would be honored publicly by the president, and not just never have to buy another drink for himself in his town for the rest of his life.
If armed robbery is “turning his life around” what was he involved in before? /s
Necrobeastiality?
Jawaad Jabbar got out a gun and demanded merchandise from the men.
JJ was a good kid, making good decisions and turning his life around...”
I’m thinking NOT!!
I’m also thinking I know where the name came from and you can’t make these type things up “He shot Jawaad..”
Another case of someone not telling the young thug that getting hold of a firearm and developing a badass attitude doesn’t make YOU bulletproof.
You OBVIOUSLY have a handle on the situations. You definitely have a eye for detail. I congratulate you, sir.
FWIW.....My favorite ride was my 1960 Chevy Impala 2 dr. hardtop, white with red interior.
We have to start sending these families letters and such: “Your son died trying to steal sneakers”
I’m sick of it! He wasn’t even trying to stay out of trouble (no real problem there normally) and now another mall is trashed because of thugs like these.
“This was a random act of, ‘I want something that person has and I’m going to take it from them,’ said Sgt. Jay Phares of the Miami Township Police Department.
There’s no such thing as an isolated case of Gibbsitis.
That disease is pandemic in certain communities.
Gibs me dat, got it.
Making great decisions, too.
I wonder what his idea of a bad decision is.
Makes me want to puke!
He turned his life around by making a BAD DECISION. Good riddance.
Whenever a thug gets a slug, the world’s a little bit better.
Sounds to me like JJ was a thug,
And another angel gets it's wings.
Merry Christmas.
I know it might sound a bit Scoogeish, but when you think of the consequences caused by these thugs over the period of many years, the quicker these are extracted permanently off the street, the better.
I wouldn’t count on it just yet. While it may be one of the older malls still standing, it does have a couple of things going for it:
1) Unlike the (defunct) Salem Mall, the Dayton Mall still is surrounded by relatively good neighborhoods, somewhat south of Dayton itself. For what I know, the main contingents of Dayton-area gibsmedats come from the west, north, and some parts of the east.
2) The incident puts more fear into criminals than it does customers. Not only did the main criminal lose everything from it, so might the other two if felony murder doctrine applies.
If the Dayton Mall declines by any means, it will likely be for not finding a replacement for the Sears anchor (or some other financial cause), not out of crime.
