I have to drive my 15-passenger van, while my 1983 RX-7 sits in the garage getting dusty. If only I could go somewhere without kids or cargo!

My husband and I are going to a meeting at church tonight and could drive the 7 ... but we have to take a load of groceries for the Knights of Columbus food collection.

I was very glad that I was not armed because I could imagine the temptation to shoot when scared.

Holy crap. I've been in a few confrontations and it never occurred to me to draw my weapon.
This sounds more like the lib view of gun bearers.
I will say if a group started threatening me it would occur very quickly.

He scared me and I thought for a moment of calling 911. I think it’s illegal to start screaming provocative words at someone out of the blue. Maybe I saw that on COPS. I was very glad that I was not armed because I could imagine the temptation to shoot when scared.

Wow, call 911, kill the man? Another weirdo that should never have a gun.

No wonder Governor Palin scared him so much.

Very strange.

What’s wrong with the picture is he’s a wimp and should never have said a word to the guy much less argue with him after seeing he was an angry drunk. Common sense, man.

I’m glad to have been a positive factor in your edification, sir. Creative cursing is a side effect of my Irish heritage.

Yes it does, and it’s a dire insult to both Irish and Scots.

I agree, that lib weirdo should never have a gun. One time, I'm in a Carl's Jr. drive-thru line. Some weirdo weenie like that starts honking at me, because he wants to cut through the line to go elsewhere in the parking lot. I had no where to go, right on the bumper ahead of me and a car on my bumper at the rear. The impatient idiot keeps honking at me. So I flipped him off and kept my position until I could proceed forward. Guess what? He called 911. When I got to the drive-through window a cop is there with the employee and motions me to pull forward to the side.

Cop: "Do you know why I pulled you over?".

Me: "Nope, no idea."

Cop: "This man says you are acting irrationally and are a potential threat."

Me: "The idiot is honking at me, I couldn't move forward or backward, so I flipped him the bird. Seems to me he's the irrational one. Something wrong with an idiot who would waste your time and 911 because of that."

Cop: "Okay, have a nice night." Cop goes back to the idiot with a sour face. Priceless.

Now imagine if the weirdo had a gun!

You should have read the piece he wrote years ago, involving this same son, who was a teenager at the time. And a typical, disobedient, teen. It involved the beach house in Malibu and a lot of other high-end Cali-specific problems.

I don’t remember if this was before the internet or not, but the responses, whether they were immediate or delayed due to dead tree publication were brutal.

I’d be thinking about a long overdue, solo driveabout, myself.

;D

Well, now... so much wrong with this.

Frankly, I never talk about my ‘special’ interactions with such people...but the logic applies to Ben’s neutered interaction, too.

Get a clue, Ben.
