Yep, I figured you had noticed the same thing I had. I was in one of those consulting groups for biz owners - 10-12 owners of totally different businesses meeting once a month to share problems, ideas, etc.

One of the smart guys owned a fairly good sized Benefits and Estate Planning firm. His specialty was group insurance. Really great guy. Successful in the business. When I had to explain to him the magic of well designed low cost high deductible plans (not the bullshit kind Obama came up with) - it was like he had a light bulb moment, a true epiphany.

Said he’d never thought about it like that. Said no one he knew did. AND HES IN THE INDUSTRY and ONE OF THE SMART ONES. Scary times.

He's a hyper, busy hands, sloppy diction talker. I can hardly tell one word from the next. It's like that whole video was one long word lol.

Yeah, I got it but I wouldn't want to be sitting there listening to and dealing with him, all cranked up. Maybe it's his meds. Just sayin'.

Jonathan Gruber is an elitist and therefore has no idea what life is really like for all the people he's out there writing legislation for. All he knows is that they're stupid, and they can't deal with the truth. They don't know what's best for 'em. So in order to give them what's best for them (Obamacare), we have to lie to them. The American people are just a bunch of idiots.

Most Washington white liberal elites lied to the American people - they have ZERO respect for any of us. Pelosi on down... And the suck-ups in the press? The ones who cover for the liberal elites? Liars cut from the same cloth....

The man who found these 'gaffs' was surprised the press didn't find them and glom on to them.. He's an innocent. If the press found stuff that made their side look bad they would bury it.

"Weinstein... was stunned ... Why did he keep finding Gruber gaffes? Why didn't the press glom onto this stuff first?"

If Jonathan Gruber is good enough for Mitt Romney and Romneycare, he's good enough for me.

(no, of course not)

When you think about it, what a scary, scary concept. The guy who designed Romneycare designed Obamacare and he openly admits that he thinks the American taxpaying public are a bunch of goofballs and morons. Because he and his dual masters believe that they are our betters and know what is good for us.

But what is really frightening: the fact that there are people right here who fall for it repeatedly, and are already shilling for Romney again.

I will never understand those that hang on to the idea of "party ueber allen", when the parties are as corrupt and self-serving as the ones we have now.

Not one Republican voted for the bill so all the lies were intended for Democrats so they would vote for it.

Yet the Democrats even though they were duped and lied to hold their faith and trust in the liars that sunk their party in 2010 and 2014.

What’s that syndrome where the kidnapped victim protects the kidnapper?

Some thoughts:

1. In a way, I feel sorry for MIT professor Gruber, because he will be sweating and losing a lot of sleep over the next 6 plus months as he waits to find out if the Supreme Court will save his arrogant ass or cook it, as it decides for or against Obama's government claim that it was an honest "typo" mistake.

2. Think about this: Do you realize that hundreds of federal bureaucrats studied every word, every comma over and over to make sure that the law said exactly what Gruber and Obama people wanted it to say?

3. "Typo" error: But now Gtuber and other Obama people are crying all over the place----like at the Supreme Court--- because they want people to believe their excuse that their "Typo" error and draft error was simply an honest mistake: They really meant to use the word "federal" where only the word "state" is written. Honest mistake my ass. They knew exactly what they were writing.

4. Imagine this about MIT Professor Gruber:

5. A Gruber student at MIT is called into his office to discuss his term paper.

6. Professor Gruber says he has some troubling questions about the paper.

7. The student tries to defend himself by saying that the "mistakes" were "typo" errors and it was a poor draft done by one of his friends who tried to help him.

8. What do you think Professor Gruber's reaction will be after he listens to all the student's excuses?

9. I tell you what arrogant Gruber will say: "Sorry son, but I don't believe you. You had plenty of time to work on you paper and correct mistakes."

10."So your grade is a big 'F'. I hope this is a lesson to you to be more careful the next time you write a paper here at prestigious MIT."

One point.

The lies weren’t really targeted at the voters. The lies were directed at the Democrat congressmen that were due to vote on the bill. The Republicans were already against it so the lies gained them nothing on that front. The Republicans weren’t stupid enough to buy the something for nothing claims. The Democrats on the other hand bought the lies and voted to make it the law of the land. They were the stupid people the writers of this law were aiming at. They ignored the public.
