But hey, we elected a majority of Republicans in the House AND Senate. Obolacare will be gone by next year, right?

“CALLER: Great. Regarding the professor’s comments, Gruber, the only people that had to be fooled were every Democrat in the House and every Democrat in the Senate. Every Republican voted against it. The only ones apparently dumb enough to fall for it was every single Democrat.”

No because Obama was re-elected after Obamacare was signed into law

(from the article):""Obamacare Consultant Under Fire for 'Stupidity of the American Voter' Comment."

We need to remind the voter that the Democrats OWN OBAMACARE
We need to remind the voter that the Democrats OWN EVD-68 ,Chagas ,TB , and other diseases arising from Illegal Immigrants.
We need to remind the voter that the Democrats OWN EXECUTIVE PRIVILEDGE in "Fast and Furious"
We need to remind the voter that the Democrats OWN the Benghazi Coverup with their media complicity.
We need to remind the voter that the Democrats OWN the fact that no budget has been passed recently, due to Harry Reid's dictatorship , and Congressional legislative inaction.
We need to remind the voter that the Democrats OWN the LIES of Nazi Pelousey , and Hairy Reed.

That’s true, the voters Gruber needed to fool were the lo fo’s - just enough to keep Obama re-elected. I think he knows conservative voters knew better.

no, because we didn’t quite get to where we need to be in the Senate.

Now, the SCOTUS on the other hand - I think it’s a decent bet they rid us of it before next year. Or, it may die on the vine - as registrations are way down.

Why should Mr. Gruber be held responsible for possibly not knowing about Congress’s Article V responsibility to first successfully petition the states for a healthcare amendment to the Constitution before establishing Obamacare Democratcare when many generations of parents have evidently not been making sure that their children are being taught about the federal government’s constitutionally limited powers, Article V in the case of Democratcare?

And speaking of Article V and Democratcare, please consider the following. I commend former Congressman Jessie Jackson Jr. for introducing, and then persistently reintroducing, a resolution for Congress to propose an intrastate healthcare amendment to the Constitution to the states in compliance with Article V, not that former Speaker Nancy Pelosi, Democrats or RINOs lifted a finger to do anything about proposing such an amendment before Pelosi irresponsibly rammed Democratcare through the House.

"Proposing an amendment to the Constitution of the United States regarding the right of citizens of the United States to health care of equal high quality." —H. J. Res. 30.

I think it’s a decent bet they rid us of it before next year.

The next incarnation of Obolacare will be single payer. Watch. If SCOTUS declares it, it will be replaced with Single Payer. The R's WON'T get rid of it, but I expect they change it. unfortunately, any significant changes to it will also push us into single payer. That was the goal from the very beginning, and I believe they will get it, as early as next year.

That doesn’t make any sense with all due respect. How in the hell do you get from this election, to the Supreme Court striking it down, to single payer?

Dude, you gotta connect some dots here - I’ll keep an open mind, but I don’t see it at all - but do tell. Unless its just mindless knee jerk cynicism and pessimism, in which case you can save it for someone else.

Good list.

Also the voters need to ignore the fact that Republicans own obamacare, they funded it fully.

The majority of Americans didn’t support this bill. We knew what was in it BECAUSE WE READ THE BILL. We were called racists!

I work in the industry. We’re already preparing for it. Insurance companies across the US spent at least 3 years and millions of $$$ to prepare. Any changes to the law that would actually be meaningful will pretty gut the law, dropping millions of Medicaid and pre-existing condition types. You think they will allow it to go quietly? I doubt it. There will be howls and screams from the left. After the time & $$$ spent to prepare for Obolacare, to make it go away overnight would be devastating to the system as a whole. You can bet they’ll be waiting in the wings with single payer. We all know that was the goal from the start.

That’s interesting, and I used to work in the industry - and frankly, I’ve been horrified about how many industry types think this is a foregone conclusion. Of course, they thought Obama Care would/could work too. So many industry people don’t really understand the concept of “insurance” - because so many in the industry didn’t even understand the magic of a high deductible plan, with or without HSA - and how it makes sense.

Lot of inside the box thinkers driving the insurance industry - no, I ‘m not assuming you are one of them - just saying the industry is full of people so close to the trees they can’t see the forest. That’s why the damned industry supported this crap in the first place.

And exactly why they deserve to fail, unfortunately. I say that knowing my own tail is on the line, if we fail, which is unfortunate, but again, the insurance industry should have been the loudest opponents. Unfortunately, that wasn't the case.
