MD-6: Republican Dan Bongino is trailing freshman Democratic Rep. John Delaney by 2,200 votes. Delaney, who poured $800,000 into his campaign account in the waning days of the race to stave off an upset, has declared victory. The Baltimore Sun reported officials will begin counting 6,900 absentee ballots on Thursday.

That is pretty funny . . . Owe'Malley's gerrymandering scheme just might go awry.

Maryland "Freak State" PING!

The GOP really needs to consider doing this, but it does need to choose its case wisely. Gillespie's may not be the right one; one of the House seats may be better. There has to be a plausible case that our side really won which honorable folks can defend. Unless he can adequately demonstrate voter fraud Gillespie would have trouble doing that should the gap otherwise remain this large. The left, of course, doesn't need that. The MSM won't complain about Rat vote fraud, being guilty of it themselves. They suppressed an estimated 20k Bush votes, IIRC, by calling Florida for Gore while the panhandle had a hour left to vote. Gore's temper tantrum never would have happened without that.

If you make the play without all hands, RINOs included, on board, it will backfire. If done with a united front (all staring at a shrinking Stuart Small in my imagination) it could help reunite the GOP. And the motivation for RINOs to go along would be highest if Gillespie could make a good case.

I am taking a democratic vote on whether or not I will consider your radical views on elections.

Please tell me tonight how many votes you have right now. I will tell you how many votes I have and which of us has won next Thursday, OK?

BTW, My staff has enclosed a graceful Republican-themed Concession Speech for you (aka 'The Scott Brown Special'). Face the teleprompter and make sure there's no spinach on your teeth.

Bend over GOP. It’s coming.

That was quick. He started speaking at 1:02 PM and conceded at 1:03 PM. :(

So how did the GOP fare a few days later?

Well, McSally in Arizona-2 and Sullivan in Alaska for Senate were the two bright spots for the GOP in close races. The remainder either flipped from GOP to RAT (CA7, CA16, and CA52) or the RAT increased his lead. So if your’s scoring at home that’s

RATS 13
GOP 2

As I posted above

“Bend over GOP. It’s coming.”

And there’s enough uncertainty in the McSally and Sullivan races, that the RATs may yet steal those as well to net

RATs 15
GOP 0

Told you so.

No one expected R’s to carry the day in many of the late undecided races, particularly those in solid blue states. The fact that they were too close to call was all the proof needed to show how badly D’s had suffered.

Update Results

Senate R 53 D 46 1u
House R 244 D 186 5u
Govs R 31 D 18 1u

Your mileage may vary

If R’s are bending over, it’s to keep the D’s down on the ground flat on their backs.
One of the funniest visions was of Louise Slaughter in NY diving in dumpsters in alleys, trying to find more ballots. Imagine the horror she experienced breaking her manicured nails and getting her designer clothes and wig all filthy. Hardest work that pathetic skank has done in her life. LOL!
