I don't really know unstable it is but the problems seem to be growing based on the accounts of regular incidents there. They seem to be getting bigger and Beijing has made no move to crack down hard. Yet.

China has many problems bubbling under the surface. I keep wondering what might happen if one problem got really serious would other fractures take advantage and press their issues robustly at the same time.
