Seriously, that is like the third one who’s ugly mug has come up for various Enola/Scandal stories in the last week.

I know!

What, does Obama thinks he can scare the disease out of people?

.

She's not ugly in the usual way but more a fairy tale's sinister character kind of ugly... A Halloween kind of ugly. An ugly that makes Mooshell say, "damn, dats ugly".

Obama Has An Ebola Czar. She Re-Directed Federal Research Money to a Democrat Donor

You may be wondering why Barack Obama, with his propensity to name “czars” for every problem that ails us, has not named an Ebola Czar.

The reason is because he (already) has, in fact, named an Ebola Czar. -- So why are we constantly seeing Dr. Tom Frieden of the CDC embarrass himself in press conferences instead of our Ebola Czar?

It turns out Dr. Nicole Lurie, the czar in charge of potential infectious disease catastrophes, has made the most of her time by funneling federal dollars to Democratic donors.

That would be the federal dollars the left says we need more of.

Check out article, graphics, and #13.

Forget Czars... They need a new director for the CDC pronto.

Tom Frieden (like his boss Obama) is in over his head and it’s probably time to remove him as the head of the CDC and replace him with a Doctor who specializes in disease control, rather than a Doctor who was essentially an administrator with the city of New York and who was politically appointed because he knew an Obama supporter named Mayor Bloomberg. Frieden has ‘sub-specialty’ training in infectious diseases. His republican appointed predecessor (Julie Gerdberding) was an infectious disease ‘expert’ who actually worked with the CDC prior to her appointment.

When outbreaks like Ebola happen, you need experts in charge, not appointees.

So is it safe to say when the LEFTEST (pigs) yell about how the evil GOP cut funding that we should point this out...misuse of money and if the Czar didn’t do this (give to Democrats) they would have more money for research...........so Ebola is their fault

Building an emergency health response

By Tom Fox September 11

Dr. Nicole Lurie is the assistant secretary for preparedness and response at the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), where she leads federal efforts in preventing and responding to the adverse health effects of public health emergencies and disasters.

She spoke about her experiences and management philosophy with Tom Fox, a guest writer for On Leadership and vice president for leadership and innovation at the nonprofit Partnership for Public Service. Fox also heads up their Center for Government Leadership. The interview has been lightly edited for length and clarity.

Q. What role are you playing in supporting the international response to the Ebola outbreak in West Africa?

A. We’re partnering with the CDC (Centers for Disease Control and Prevention) and other HHS agencies to ensure that U.S. healthcare providers, hospitals, health clinics, emergency medical services and healthcare coalitions have the information they need to be prepared to identify and treat Ebola infections, in case anyone in the United States becomes sick after traveling from affected countries or from contact with infected individuals.

We’re also building on our interagency and industry partners to accelerate the development and testing of vaccines — and to be prepared to scale up manufacturing if they prove safe and effective.

Lurie to lead Obama’s Ebola drug group

August 8 2014 at 09:31am
By David Morgan and Sharon Begley

Washington/New York - The Obama administration is forming a special Ebola working group to consider setting policy for the potential use of experimental drugs to help the hundreds infected by the deadly disease in West Africa, US officials said on Thursday.

The group is being formed under Dr Nicole Lurie, Assistant Secretary for Preparedness and Response at the Department of Health and Human Services, an administration official said.

An Open Letter to All U.S. Healthcare Professionals
Dear Colleague,
As a frontline healthcare provider, you play an essential role in protecting the health and well-being of
our nation. In light of the recent presentation of an Ebola-positive patient in Texas, we wanted to remind all healthcare professionals that simple steps can be taken to prevent the spread of this disease. You can contribute to our country’s response by being ready to detect a potentially infected patient; protect yourself, your colleagues, and other patients from exposure; and respond with appropriate patient care. Specifically, you should be ready to:

Detect: Ask All Patients with Non-Specific Complaints About Recent Travel
A travel history should be taken as early as possible in your encounter with all patients.
Although the signs and symptoms of Ebola are nonspecific (e.g., fever, headache, muscle pain, weakness, vomiting, diarrhea, etc.), Ebola can be virtually eliminated from your differential byruling out travel to the affected area.

Protect: Use Good Infection Control Practices
Consistent and correct use of personal protective equipment (PPE), frequent hand washing,
and proper decontamination of surfaces and equipment are key to reducing or eliminating thetransmission of Ebola and other communicable diseases (e.g., HIV, influenza, hepatitis, andEnterovirus-D68).

Respond: Have a Plan
All healthcare workers should know what to do when encountering a suspected Ebola patient. Itis critical to know who to notify and to make that notification immediately. Remember, Ebola isa nationally notifiable disease and must be reported to local, state, and federal public healthauthorities.
The CDC website has many important resources for clinicians to learn more about Ebola.
In addition, the CDC Emergency Operations Center (EOC) is always available at 770-488-7100or eocreport@cdc.gov.
In the last decade, our nation has made great strides in healthcare system and public health emergency preparedness. As a result of our efforts, we are confident in our collective ability to control the spread of Ebola domestically. Thank you for your continued partnership and dedication to national health security.
Best regards,
Nicole Lurie, M.D., M.S.P.H. RADM, U.S. Public Health Service Assistant Secretary for Preparedness and Response

Dear GOD. She sees the practice of medicine as a tool for social justice ..

People who think this way are incapable of a) rational thought and b) caring for the sick.

I would hope your thinking extends God’s to revelations about Obama being a creation of mama Stanley Ann with an Indonesian Muslim cult guru by the name of Mohammed Subuh. Check him out to see the family resemblance. Obama is only African to the extent he was born in Kenya but not conceived in Kenya. Obama has much hidden/locked up family history and that is why pertinent information has to come by way of mama’s family history.
