Of course! ...provided we get good access to the campground.
Y'all would have gotten along just fine. He was an awesome dude.
There's a pic for you, Donna.
Is dat a 22?
.177 Pellet Rifle.
A Benjamin, I think.
At ten pumps it’s almost like a .22.
(Hangs head in shame) Let us observe a moment of silence for the margarita that never was.
Thank You for that kindness. My appreciation.
Did you go to Hotwells?
I’ve actually been there quite a few times. It’s okay if you’re just sighting in a rifle or something but not exactly the best place to shoot. They don’t allow anyone to go downrange except the range personel, so they cease fire every 30 to 40 minutes and it can take quite a while for them to change everyones’ target.
I think they have a couple of pistol bays they use for CHL classes. I don’t know if they let private groups use those or not.
We did go to Hotwells and agree with your assessment that it is not a good place for the shoot.
I’m trying to come up with alternatives, but doesn’t look like the shoot will be in the Houston area ~ all the outdoor ranges around here suck.
Have you looked at the Clear Creek gun range?
I did (well, their website). A problem with them, and several others in the area, is the cost. They charge per gun instead of per person. That can end up being expensive.
The only other possibility I can think of around here besides American Shooting Center is Thunder aGun Range in Conroe, but I’ve never been there.
