Not a bad 'backgrounder' on "Patient Zero," containing pertinent facts (and interesting and elusive new gaps) regarding our own (now-late) Thomas Eric Duncan disregarded, censored or otherwise unreported by the Captive Press.

I would not be surprised to find direct links from this man to the Obama admin, mysteriously.

The dude knew he was exposed. He screwed up by being rejected by the hospital the first time he went there. Three more days proved terminal.

Duncan is a mass murderer.
The potential for death is massive.
He was a selfish man.

There is no evidence he would have survived had he been hospitalized three days earlier. There is no specific treatment, care is supportive.

This goes to show checking people for fever at the airport isn’t God enough.

Desperate people do desperate things. Any of us in that situation would surely have been tempted to do the same thing

Duncan was a racist anti African-African bigot. His own people’s medical services weren’t good enough for him in Liberia and he had to come to America and use the White Privilege medical system.

"Duncans temperature taken before he boarded the plane in Monrovia as part of precautionary government measures, had been below normal, reading at 36.3. The normal body temperature is 37 degrees or 98.6 degrees Fahrenheit." Can taking ibuprofen lower a person's body temperature this much?

Bring Out Your Dead
Post to me or FReep mail to be on/off the Bring Out Your Dead ping list.
The purpose of the Bring Out Your Dead ping list (formerly the Ebola ping list) is very early warning of emerging pandemics, as such it has a high false positive rate.
So far the false positive rate is 100%.
At some point we may well have a high mortality pandemic, and likely as not the Bring Out Your Dead threads will miss the beginning entirely.
*sigh* Such is life, and death...

And then Jessie Jackson had to go see the family so they could charge us with racism. Jessie didn’t look so good on TV today...eyes were extra buggy.

Can taking ibuprofen lower a person's body temperature this much? Aspirin and ibuprofen are known to do just that.

Speak for yourself, slumber.
I would never expose my adult children and grandchildren. I would quarantine myself, make my peace with God, and do my best to die gracefully.
I would fight any temptation to save myself at the expense of innocent others.

"Aspirin and ibuprofen are known to do just that." I had always heard about them lowering your temperature if you had a fever - I never considered that they could lower a normal body temp too. I just never thought about it before. Given this reality, maybe the "screeners" should start DQ-ing people who line up with temps lower than normal also.

The average American, the type we’ve all seen on Jay Leno’s ‘man on the street’ segments, think the inscription on the Statue of Liberty is US immigration law.

I would not be surprised to find direct links from this man to the Obama admin, mysteriously. How about the Judge in Dallas:
and the Baptists got $190 MILLION for housing illegal immigrant children.
No wonder Judge Jenkins has a cheesy grin.
