“The man is thought to have contracted the virus in Liberia before travelling to the US nearly two weeks ago”
********************************************************8
Two weeks... the guy’s been here two weeks?
Every man has a list. Better work your list before you're too sick or dead to be able to do anything about it.
Hmmmmm....what to do?
The default position for any government agency or official is to protect the organization and themselves in every way.
That includes doing whatever they can to evade criticism or accusations of incompetence, making mistakes, or errors in judgement.
That means passing out as little information as possible.
The less people know the less they have to pick apart.
They didn’t need that self inflicted wound on credibility, there is no justification for hiding that from Americans.
WABC 770 radio news in New York has been reporting every half hour that he is a citizen. The deliberately evasive answers during press conference sure convinced me otherwise.
In my memory when questions are raised...and no answers given...those uh..declining to answer are ordinarily Lying.
Is suspect that to be the case with the cdc’s response.
its an african
Maybe, but I am not sure.
With Obama and the democrats attacking our country each and every day, 2016 becomes a long ways off.
I don’t believe anything the CDC says about ebola. They say it’s only spread through contact with body fluids yet every hospital worker is wearing a hazmat suit. Are they afraid the guy is going to piss on them? If they’re afraid he’s going to cough on them then put a mask on him.
Every person coming into this country from Africa should be quarantined for 21 days. They can build a motel right next to the dog kennel.
I recently read that the gays want to be able to give blood again and actually saying it would save lives....
No to AIDS and no to ebola. If Bill Clinton were governor of Texas he would be importing more ebola people if he could make money just like he was bribed for the aids infected blood in Arkansas.
A link to this thread has been posted on the Ebola Surveillance Thread
Notice also that the CDC parses words about when symptoms appeared. They only say that the man didn’t have symptoms when he boarded the flight which given the incubation period of Ebola of 9-21 days and given his onset of symptoms he could’ve easily been experiencing early symptoms before he landed given the long international flight from Liberia. It took him 4 days before he was sick enough that he went to the ER. They treated him, gave him some hefty pain killers a shot of morphine to take the edge off and sent him home with some prescriptions to sleep it off like the flu. Two days later after he had been hanging out in a pack Emergency room he was rushed back to the hospital in an ambulance and just now he is in critical condition. The time line really suggest he was near symptomatic when he boarded the plane and notice the CDC does not say he was non symptomatic when he left the plane because most likely it means no one was even checking.
This is negligence pure and simple.
Will Bush finally break his silence from his great state of Texas?
Will Perry?
What will Cruz say?
Surely there is someone in the know who will leak whether this is an illegal alien or not? That hugely matters as to national opinion on amnesty or not.
HIPAA rules are pretty strict about revealing any information about a patient. Just my guess.
Whenever the government withholds information, the presumption should be, government guilty!
So it answered indirectly instead.
No.
With another Ebola case on its way and 5 school age children exposed what do you think will happen Obama?????
