Your prayer was a little slow but our guys might need the help later. According to Capt. Nash the Syrian radar did not light up. And that left the air road open to do major clean-up on the entire Euphrates valley in Syria. If I saw the map right our guys even hit the same place the Israelis hit to take out Basher’s nuke plant.

Jordan confirmed Tuesday that its warplanes had joined US-led strikes against the Islamic State (IS) group in Syria, Agence France-Presse (AFP) reported.
“We took part in the strikes which are part of our efforts to defeat terrorism in its strongholds,” AFP quoted Minister of State for Media Affairs and Communications Mohammad Momani, who is also the government spokesperson.
Jordan Armed Forces (JAF) also said that Royal Jordanian Air Force launched at dawn air strikes against “terrorist groups” that were planning attacks in Jordan.
The JAF statement did not name the terrorist group and did not say where air strikes were, but indicated that Jordanian fighter jets destroyed a number of targets belonging to terrorists.
The air force jets returned safely to their bases, said the army statement.
The army statement is an indication that Jordan had joined the US-led strikes against IS in Syria as the US Defence Department announced that the US and partner nation forces have begun airstrikes inside Syria against terrorists from IS.
Pentagon Press Secretary Navy Adm. John Kirby said in a statement the strikes were being undertaken through a mix of fighter and bomber aircraft and Tomahawk Land Attack missiles, he said.
U.S. Central Command has conducted a total of 190 airstrikes across Iraq in the battle against ISIL forces. The decision to begin the airstrikes in Syria was made earlier Tuesday by Centcom Commander Army Gen. Lloyd Austin, the admiral said.
The strikes are being made under authorisation granted by the commander in chief, President Barack Obama, as part of the comprehensive strategy to degrade and ultimately destroy IS.

I expect they’re lying/under reporting the number of targets. At least two of our missile cruisers plus the carrier Bush were unloading their quivers. Enough stuff went airborne that I saw pieces of to make the count more like 250. The carrier Vinson is also nearby and I can’t see those guys holding back if they thot they heard somebody say “fire at will”, or fire at akmud, or fire at whoever.
It’s amazing how they have a penchant for putting up palaces to draw fire, just like Saddam, then go live in a tent or spider hole, just like Saddam, to avoid fire.
Have to say that last night people on the ground in Syria were saying to imagine a sky full of fireballs.....this was repeated from various people though worded differently all indicated the same thing..lots of fire in the sky.
You can bet many are in holes today!
Reports saying the targeting is pretty much dead on and the snakes are scattering..if they live through it.
However...now it’s begun you can bet those who “love a fight” from the other muslim countries will be flooding in Syria again .....they like to be where the media covers as well.
The strikes caught ‘observers’ in the Middle East by surprise.
We were expecting the airstrikes, but we were not expecting them to be that soon, said Riad Kahwaji, chief executive officer of the Institute for Near East and Gulf Military Analysis (INEGMA). I am sure they came as a full surprise even for ISIS and al-Nusra Front of al-Qaeda. It is clearly a war on terror.
“According to Capt. Nash the Syrian radar did not light up. And that left the air road open...”
This indicates that it was coordinated with the Assad regime.
The alternative is that Assad’s Air Defense was massively suppressed - which would have the Syrians, Iranians and Russians panicking today, rather than making pro-forma denunciations.
The administration is out there denying any coordination with the Assad regime - which only makes me think that they did even more.
I wonder how much the Syrians were involved in identifying or approving the targets?
n the first of three waves of attacks, Mayville said more than 40 Tomahawk missiles were launched against Khorasan compounds, manufacturing workshops and training camps.
The second wave was airstrikes, including the first combat missions for the F-22 Raptor, against targets in northern Syria, including ISIS headquarters, barracks, training camps and combat vehicles.
The final wave included F-18s and F-16s hitting ISIS training facilities and vehicles in eastern Syria. The “preponderance” of coalition support occurred during the third wave of strikes, Mayville said.
Korosan Group was targeted because they had direct information where the leadership was located......these were people also tied to 9/11....the leader was photographed next to Osma- ben-ladan after 9/11
The leaders is known to recruit and train members to strike US .
Don’t know about the cartoon but for my thought am going from history but from your thinking ‘1’ + ‘O’ have ten?
