New lawsuit from Kobach as he demands a Democrat candidate, any candidate remain on ballot.

It wasn't Kobach. It was some Democrat filing to have the court force a replacement on the ballot. We'll see if the court uses the old 'standing' as an excuse to kill it.

Let’s not be defeatist. It matters a lot as to who controls the Senate. Any GOP candidate is better than the most conservative Dem. Look at the ratings across the organizations. It matters a lot and we need the GOP.

I submit John Boehner's actions (as late as yesterday)as evidence this is false. When it counts, RINOs caucus with Democrats and leave conservatives hanging. McConnell will do likewise if he is ML. I have reached the point that better the enemy I know than the friend I cannot trust.

You are confusing things. Politicians, like all people, are self-interested. They work to preserve their self interest. That’s satisfying the voters and their supporters, who might not be the same.

It’s up to us to hold their feet to the fire, watch over their shoulder, etc. Boehner’s been frustrated plenty of times, he is a cat-herder, and has many masters.

Net, net, net, the solution won’t come from politicians, but from us. We need to play smart and be innovative in our solutions. Slow and steady wins the race is the truth, even in politics.

So conservatives should stick with the GOPe no matter how the GOPe kicks them and tries to destroy them, because the other choices might be worse? That is why many wives stay with battering husbands and it’s a bad decision. Sometime you have to take a few short term problems to fix long term ones. If conservatives ditch the GOPe, it may seem to help democrats in the near term, but it would force a political realignment that might be beneficial in the long term. In any event, it is the sane thing to do.
