I do.... because if each of us does not ‘give a damn’ then we are totally done for. It is all the more important to get out of the chair, shake off the cob webs, and get to work double time

Despair only supports liberals. They would love for conservatives to give up.
I'll give up some unspecified time after my death.

You have just stated President Dewey's strategy in his landslide victory over Truman in 1948. Oh wait--

“In the Senate, we have Cruz, Lee and Paul, but we would need someone like Palin with the communications skills to put it across.”
Well, we have Cruz and Lee.

This has Mitch McConnell written all over it. The only thing he knows how to do is prevent strong action when he has a winning hand.

You can be certain that the money men have given the GOPe their marching orders - and a crushing defeat for progressivism is not on the agenda.

I'd like to see something like the 1994 "Contract with America", but we don't have anyone in the House with the brains, strategic thinking, communications skills and pure moxie that Gingrich had. Our bench is weak there. A persuasive, positive Republican agenda aimed at nationalizing the election will never happen under Bonehead's leadership.
To: taildragger
I disagree about losing the Senate. Is the GOPe going to call every Republican and tell them to act stupid and make mistakes so they lose?
Google “economic collapse in 2015” and sources will come up. Gerald Celente, Lou Rockwell, Doug Hagmann,Peter Schiff, James Rawles.....

You’re both right. Boehner and McConnell don’t know how to think outside the box. Gingrich was much better at working the big picture.

The GOPe are a bunch of idiots Only if one thinks that the Ruling Class GOP and the MarxoFascist Democrats have different objectives and ideologies.
If not, then what the GOP-e is doing makes PERFECT sense.

The ONE thing you can count on, that you can be certain of, with the beltway establishment GOP, is, in an election year, to deflate their base.

Best doom and gloom thread EVER!!!...LOL. Some folks are so grumpy all news is bad news. If we win the Senate some people here are going to have the same looks on their faces as the hosts of MSNBC.

On election evening, I’ll have my champagne on ice along with my smoked salmon and crusty French bread in case it all turns out well. But I still want something like the “Contract with America” as we go into the home stretch.

Not one dime’s worth of difference. Beavis and Butthead, aka McCornhole and Bonor, are not game changers.
