He was simply coming to the school to speak with his daughter's counselor regarding her class schedule but was turned away at the doors because he was not wearing a tie. I would be willing to wager a bet that if you checked with the male faculty members, there are some of them who do not wear ties.

I'm much happier in the twenty-teens than in the 1980s. It's still primitive, but not so much.

my dearly departed father would not recognize the world we are currently being “:treated to”
I hesitate to imagine what those several generations his senior...would think of this current situation.
they wanted the man to “go home and change his clothes”...??ahahaha

Funny how much 'making a point' sounds like BS exaggeration.

I was better off back then, despite the big hair and the leg warmers everywhere.

Sunshine is the best disinfectant, looks like it will be taken care of not just in this district but a lot more now that this amount of anger is being shown nationally.

You are entitled to your opinion right or wrong; I am entitled to mine.
Telling people to shut up or criticizing them for having a different opinion is a progressive tactic.

I certainly didn't tell anyone to shut up. I just gave my opinion of obvious exaggeration.

I am always glad to see a soldier in uniform. It makes me feel safe, and I show my appreciation. What I hate are the wannabees.

I work with reservists and active duty every day. They all go to 7-11 and pick their kids up from school. AFAIK the uniform is not to be worn off-duty. If on duty (to and from work is considered on duty) then it is authorized.

At the airport, yes, I just don’t want to get used to being policed by them. They are not to be used against the American people.

The ERA after Vietnam was tame next to this BS America hating that Obama has pushed. Everyday another symbol of what is good about America and the same God that is referred to 6 time or so in the Declaration of Independence is assaulted more and more. We must stop Obama and pals from further destroying America. Wait until these q-—rs bring HIV to your VA Hospital. Obama got this political fool Gen Dempsey to agree with throwing these weirdos in the military.

Me too. And I loved the big hair and leg warmers.
I can still taste and smell the hairspray that emanated for the girl's bathroom at school.
IMHO, the 80's had the best looking girls!

This crap started in the 60’s. Thankfully not all have bought into the cultural-revolution. But it is crazy. I just can't believe some of the things I hear. I think they are satire, but they really are not.

Agreed, my biggest fear with ISIS is that they attempt a Breslan type attack on one of our American schools.
I recently retired after 32 years (rural school +700)they do have an armed police officer in our school at all times.
I must say though that our intruder alert drill concerns me. Luckily I taught science, and the first thing to greet anyone who broke into my classroom would be a liter of HCL in their face.
