Isnt Isis the same wackos that we armed and funded when they were trying to take down the Assad regime? They were part of Al Qeada in Iraq which was receiving aid from the US in Syria as a blanket group of rebel factions. Then the US got caught. So Obama and Hillary had to declare Al Nusrah (Al Qeada in Iraq) a terrorist organization and they stopped giving aid. But then Qatar continued the aid. Eventually ISIS split off from Al Nusrah and that is when things went really bad. The new ISIS group started attacking the other rebels and then the US and Qatar realized they had a problem potentially just as bad as Assad.
And if Al Nusra/ISIS had actually succeeded in toppling Assad, they would have had access to all his Chemical WMD. And that believe it or not was the best case scenario if the US/Qatar plan had actually worked. So as bad as it is now, if the original US/Qatar plan had worked, it would have been much worse. That is the case with everything Obama gets involved with. Best play is to throw a monkey wrench into the works.

“After having supplied food and water to the defenseless people on that mountain (very laudable) what will happen to them after our planes leave and they are defenseless again?”
What the people on the mountain don’t know is this was their last supper.

The article said they dropped 5300 gallons of water and 8,000 MRE’s. I thought there were at least 40,000 stranded on this mountain? That’s not much of a last supper.

Recognize, arm, and supply Kurdistan.
Absolutely. The peshmerga have old weapons and very little ammo....they may have an old tank or two. ISIS has advanced American weapons and tons of ammo.

Perfect MANPADS bait. First, they're over a mountaintop without adversary in that location, and second, a missile fired from a lower elevation is not going to find the target over the ridgeline and third, no surface-to-air missiles in that area anyway.

Well, that out to get them through a day, or two.
