If you have not read Garys grassroots manual yet do so. He is getting numbers of voters to show up in local elections that are really good.
check it out get him to send you a copy.
It’s 27 pages long I guaranteee you will read every last page.
Do you have a link to it?
Wrong. Romney received 1 million more votes than McCain did in 2008.
No I got it via e mail.
You’ll like the article by David Limbaugh. He covers this.

I agree. Celebrate an election win but that’s just the start.
We have to continue to keep their feet to the fire. Holding them accountable, voter outreach, voter registration and overall voter education is an ongoing exercise.
We also need to congratulation them for votes they take where we agree and complain if they waver from their campaign promises or positions. Too often we fail to keep in contact once these guys are elected.
I agree with all of this. But, conservatives fail to follow up on our beliefs after we vote!
We have to keep going in both support for candidates, even more liberal Republicans, as well as voter education.
How many times do we send donations and/or comments to incumbents? Rarely, IMHO. Liberal Republican office holders have to hear from us to keep them conservative and let them know we’re watching, organizing and voting. The only reason someone like Boehner can ignore us or disparage tea party supporters is because he doesn’t hear from us enough.
But my point is, with only 14% voting participation in TOTAL during the primaries, do conservatives actually VOTE? Because we are the single biggest voting block out there.
It is impossible to follow up after voting if you don't actually vote!
Given these dismal numbers, if those conservatives who support TEA values but didn't vote did, not a single TEA candidate would have lost. Period.
Complain about Cochran, Graham, McConnell, etc. all you want, but the way to unseat them WAS to vote for their opponents. It COULD have been easily done if conservatives got off their lazy, complaining backsides and showed up at their respective polls.
As Pogo said, "We have met the enemy, and he is us!"
I agree with all of this.
As a past district captain, with 55 prcincts responsibility, I know first hand what has to be done and how hard it is to get non voters to vote and get involved. Also dealing with both independents and libertarians.
The hardest to deal with are those radical libertarian conservatives who are past Republicans and got disgruntled and everything was “my way or the highway.”
