This admission probably came during a rare sober moment. These drunken derelicts are probably drunk again by now and back in their incompetent mental fog. No sober person could live with what they did to all those innocent people.

What a bunch of bums!

Won't argue that...Both US and Russia have people involved in this cluster of madness going on there. But that b*stard I pictured has no allegiances to anyone but himself....he's cunning and plays all sides against each other for his own personal amusement....he has the revenue and resources, and the army to pull of what he wants...and does.

My concern is both sides, Russia/Nato/Kiev/US are looking like they're gearing up for a major war.... Kiev's pouring money into all their airstrips like there was no tomorrow. ..not to mention the buildup of Nato on the Borders of adjoining countries, and flying jets over Ukraine......Additionally other movements of preparation in the Kiev Defense area with a massive recruitment happening and announced on their Defense website..... Obama announcing he's sending more Pentagon Military “advisers” into the region, which there are many there already.

None of these players are interested in backing down anytime soon....so it all continues to escalate.

If that were indeed true, I have no doubt the sat imagery of the launch from our satellites would already be plastered all over the networks.

That's not true.

The one thing we learned from the MH370 hijacking is that no country -- friend or foe -- wants any other country to know their satellite and radar capabilities.

Undoubtedly, it was Putin who made up the story about somebody mistaking the jet for his plane. Who else would be so stupid as to think that anyone was going to buy a story like that?

Putin's still trying to figure out why his incompetence caused the loss of the Ukraine as a ally. He's a joke.

“None of these players are interested in backing down anytime soon....so it all continues to escalate.”

That has been my concern, all along.
And we currently have exactly the WRONG kind of leadership for a confrontation like this. Which is in large part why it happening in the first place.

Then you are a mass murderer.

Tell it to the skipper!

Captain William C. Rogers III, USN-retired
Commanded the USS Vincennes, 1988

This is what you get when you put sophisticated weapons in the hands of para-military half-wits! It's completely irresponsible and it IS calculated MURDER.

Buk, Aegis ... What difference does it make?

The Russian military fired artillery rounds into eastern Ukraine on Thursday, a “clear escalation” of hostilities there, Army Col. Steve Warren, a Pentagon spokesman, said.

Russia has about 12,000 troops on the border with Ukraine, Warren said. Russian tanks, artillery and rocket launchers have crossed into Ukraine to support separatists there.

Defense Secretary Chuck Hagel has not spoken to his Russian counterpart about the artillery attack and has no plans to, Warren said.

“This is a clear escalation,” Warren said.

The Russians have conducted artillery attacks on Ukraine military targets for the last several days, Warren said.

There’s so much escalating behind the scenes, as these players gather and are implementing things, which MSM is not revealing.

I read on Ukraine’s Defense site they’re training Kiev’s soldiers in only 15 to 30 days before sending them out....and this mass recruitment announcement was made today.

I also thought that perhaps the reason the US has not given evidence that Russia was to blame for MH17, is because if and when they do so it allows US ‘legally’ to send in troops and military into Ukraine....they may be just holding back that card until they’re ready to use it.

Obama’s already made clear to the state Governors he wants no flack form Governors on the decisions he’s making......which would indicate he’s otherwise occupied on Ukraine/Russia and simply wants nothing here to stop his agenda...particularly on the world stage.

Really angers me that this Administration is in the tank for Europe’s NATO ambitions ‘on Ukraine’ and determined nothing will stop them from the payday Obama owes them for helping him get in office....as well as others who have been manipulating our country for gain at our expense.

This has gone so far down the road, and in such overall secrecy, that by the time the nation realizes what’s happening it will be too late to stop it....let alone even slow it down.

Obamas got the reins and he’s using them at full forward throttle......as he integrates his agenda, (and other’s at the top of that food chain), for this nation into the NWO.

I never thought of this guy as ‘para-military’

In its defense, the Vincennes believed they were about to be attacked by an Iranian F-14 armed with anti-ship missiles (Iran's F-14s were not so-equipped). The previous year, 37 sailors were killed and 21 wounded when an Iraqi Mirage mistakenly (Saddam was our ally at the time) fired a pair of Exocets at the USS Stark.

As for "para-military" and all that, Iran Air 655 was squawking its normal code, was maintaining standard contact with ATC in English, and was flying its standard 28-minute route from Tehran to Dubai. But despite well trained operators in front of a control panel way superior to that of the Buk, they still managed to screw up.

""....the crew of the Vincennes attempted to communicate with the Iranian flight after they had improperly identified it as a potential hostile." Just as the Russians, Ukrainians, rebels or whomever did."

Really? What evidence do you have that anyone tried to call MH17 before they opened fire? The crew of the Vincennes tried 7 times on multiple frequencies. The investigations afterward noted that the Iranian flight probably did not recognize that they were being called because the Vincennes used the wrong airspeed to identify them.

The US instantly admitted that its was our missile that destroyed that passenger plane. There was a lot of confusion at first about the actual situation about F-14s and such but it was clear from the beginning that we shot it down. Big difference from the Russians and their sycophants who haven't admitted anything. They never thought that they were in any danger at all, they just thought that they could shoot a nice unwarned and defenseless Ukrainian airplane out of the sky and nobody'd be the wiser.

Interesting that you haven't mentioned KAL007.

Your comparison of the Iranian tragedy and the Malaysian flight atrocity is telling: despite your service in Vietnam, you have implied equivalency between this awful mass murder and how it occurred and what we did during an on-going fight with Iranian armed forces. I don't support what Capt. Rodgers did and I do feel that we didn't do everything we should have to seek justice but that incident was not deliberate.

As far as your Vietnam service goes, good for you. It's the part where you attack our own country I take issue with. John Kerry is a Vietnam veteran too.

“In its defense, the Vincennes believed they were about to be attacked by an Iranian F-14...”

I'm real clear on this. But, tell it to those other guys beating me up because I made a distinction between regular military and para's mishandling ordinance in the Ukraine

They deny it, admit it and deny it again. Deja vu. Long ago, I wondered whether or not we’d use the extreme cold climate and NBC gear in our wall lockers for anything more serious than training. We didn’t. Time will tell, as to whether that was a good or bad thing.

But when Russia is shooting down planes from its territory, and training and supplying and arming the rebels.....

Just as in Crimea, where Russia was denying any part, while soldiers in Russian uniforms and vehicles were organizing and directing attacks.
