The facts suggest otherwise.
Apparently, it wasn’t safe.
Or not.
There goes another Russian talking point.
The airline acted stupidly.
My thoughts exactly.
What a stupid thing for that man to say.
Was Safe
- - - - -
I believe events have shown the word “was” to be more true than “safe”.
These Malaysian officials never seem to learn.
Idiots
Ask the passengers if the route was safe.
“and had been used by Malaysia Airlines for years”
And for how many of those years was a war going on where surface-to-air missiles being used?
Any route is safe at 33,000 ft unless you have BUK launchers and SAMs on the ground beneath you under the control of Russian thugs named Igor —
The solution is for everyone to give their countries to Putin.
and how many other airlines had been taking that route???
Evidently not.
Kinda makes you wonder if someone...George Soros, or of his ilk...is trying to buy an airline cheap. Two major disasters in just a couple of months ought to bring the price down right smartly.
As I tried to explain last night, POLITICS played a huge role in this...
Crimea, where NO fighting was going on was declared “Unsafe”, while Southeastern Ukraine, where aircraft are being shot down daily by surface-to-air missiles was declared “safe”
Why??
IMO, the POLITICAL fallout from declaring SE UK to be unsafe would mean admitting a civil war is actually happening, and not an “anti-terrorist operation”.
There is a HUGE political difference in talking points between the two.
Why not, we’re giving ours to central America.
“Kinda makes you wonder if someone...George Soros, or of his ilk...is trying to buy an airline cheap.”
Not Malaysian...
It is a crony-filled, state-supported money-pit, facing stiff competition from discounters all over the region.
"Not anymore."
