so now we want to normalize pedophilia.
I disagree with the entire premise of this stuff.
They are saying that people have certain “urges” or “orientations” or “desires”. We may all feel things which we don’t act on.
A good example would be men’s desires towards women. A man may have desire towards women other than his wife, but, a moral man who respects his wife and others, will not act on this. Even Jimmy Carter once addressed this issue, saying he committed adultery in his heart. But not in reality.
But bear with me. We all may feel desires of various types, but, and this is a big but, it doesn’t mean we should act on those desires, or have some constitutional right to do so.
In this case, the impacts of child molestation, rape, etc. and the fact that these are not cases of consenting adults doing things, should override all attempts to normalize/legalize pedophilia. Just my opinion. I’m sure NAMBLA types take strong issue with that.

Who are the people who’ll support the movement in the future. The emancipation of children is what they’ll call it. Today, a kid’s right to choose their gender is protected. They’re right to assisted suicide is protected in Belgium. It’s only a matter of time before their right to choose who they have sex with will be heralded. Who will oppose it? The people saying “I have nothing against gays, I just don’t want to you in my face about it” oppose pedophilia? Will the people who want to legalize gambling, prostitution, heroine, meth, “gay marriage”, etc take a stand on emancipating children? They probably will, for a while.
Shhhhh, they’ll want to normalize raping another man’s wife next.
Amen. Some days I think I cannot absorb reading any more of the filth taking over the world.
No wonder the liberals love muslims - both groups like to bugger children..
To me, the key issue should be, that children are not legally allowed to give consent to sex activity with adults. This is why we have age of consent laws.
We have to maintain these age of consent laws so that there is a line which we do not cross, as we become more and more liberal on homosexuality and other sex related issues.
If liberals start to go after age of consent laws, then that will unfortunately pave the way for completely sexualizing children. Unfortunately, that would be the end of civilization as we know it. How many generations can grow up with completely unfettered sex activity forced on them, and be able to function properly as adults when they grow up???

With abortion they just had to twist a human being was not a human being till we want it to be a human being.
With gay marring they just had to twist that if you do not provide it your denied it .. (Same as the lefts hobby lobby logic)
So if you can just put the age of consent down..first to the same age as you can get an abortion... then down to that point we say a human being is a human being..
Ideas rule the world, not politicians or generals.
Cultural change begins with an intellectual hatching an idea. The idea is picked up by academia. The idea is then passed on to the students and disseminatd through the media, and eventually becomes conventional wisdom about 40 years later.
Consider that the American Psychiatric Association declassified homosexuality as a disorder in 1973. 40 yyears later homosexual marriage is commonplace —something unimaginable 40 years earlier.
The same thing can happen with pedophilia. The fact that it has entered the colleges is alarming.
You’ve got to wonder, is having “skeletons in one’s closet” a pre-requisite to getting elected to political office?
It does make sense, though, that big money campaign donors (and other types of campaign support such as media and “grass roots”) would want to have some guaranteed way of getting their puppets to do their bidding. The threat of being exposed can be a very powerful influence.

Sexual perversion is not a new idea. It is one of the oldest in the world. But in our Western, Christian-based societies, it is a "new" idea and this is not good.

The subtle lie of “consenting adults” becoming the standard of sexual morality in our society began in the late 1800’s with the feminist movement. Christian clergymen went along because setting the age of consent to 18 would supposedly curb the sexual abuse of teenage girls who were living and working away from home in factories, etc.
Once “consenting adults” replaced monogamous, heterosexual marriage as the basis for sexual morality, all hell broke loose. It just took more than a century for those seeds sown to become the harvest of perversion that they became.
Before consenting adults was made the standard, generally getting married meant a young man, capable of supporting a family, had to earn the approval of the girl’s parents before having a shot at winning her heart. It meant work, time and effort as opposed to instant gratification.
Not surprising at all. It’s the slippery slope. Homosexuals want to molest children as young as possible. That’s how they recruit new homosexuals.
Once the moral underpinning is removed, child molesting, incest, bestiality, and all other forms of depravity will be embraced.
