“We can get even with the GOP establishment later; we need to beat the Democrats first.”

Nope, sorry, we need to destroy the barbarians within the walls before we have a chance to defeat the ones at the gates.

Destroy the current gop - it is only taking nutrients and sunshine that is needed by a true conservative party.

The gop has had its chances, provided by conservative voters holding their noses. With those chances, the gop has done.....(crickets).....that’s right, nothing, zip, nada.

The gop establishment is holding back the conservative movement, and worse, they pretend to be conservative while eagerly jumping into the back seat of every liberal jalopy and hoisting their skirts.

Get rid of the faithless whores, and build a conservative party. I’ve brought my last party slut home to meet Mom and Dad.

Vote for the gop establishment? HA! How many times will you forgive your adulterous wife? I’ve done so at least every other year since Reagan’s last term. I’ve decided she is just a round-heeled tramp who will always let any liberal wanker have his way with her. She’s not going to change. I’d rather have an empty bed than to smell the musk of randy dems on her every night!

Essentially, the Establishment Republicans and Democrats are one and the same.

Seems to me that the author doesn’t realize that it’s hard to fight the enemy at your front (Democrats) when you’ve also got enemies at your back (GOPe). First priority needs to be the people who will backstab you or else they’ll do it at the time you need them most. It reminds me of the scene in Braveheart where William Wallace is betrayed by the nobles on horses right in the middle of a crucial battle. Also, his point of view is so short sighted. He is like the person who doesn’t understand why we don’t negotiate with terrorists. The last thing we want to do is give credence to the Chochran strategy for future GOPe politicians to emulate.

Sometimes evil has to be punished and I’m not talking about Cochran, I’m talking about the barbours, and the RNSC. If we jump on board after this we just give our assent to these tactics and sit by and watch them purge the republican party of all dissent and Conservatives. I don’t believe in third parties, I believe in working through the republican party and at this time telling them to go to hell and casting a NO VOTE in the Mississippi senate race is the proper way to do it.

Life is not fair.

This is where I stopped. Didn't need to read any more.

I have never believed this. Life is not ALWAYS fair, but in general it is. This is kind of statement is the, "Don't look at how you got here, just get over it." statement.

If you get an education, work hard, take sensible risks, tell the truth, love your family, plan for the future and take everything in moderation, there is a very good chance that "life" will treat you well.

If you drop out, do drugs, have kids out of wedlock and rely on the government for your existence, life if going to be tough.

Maybe this is too "Pollyanna" for Monday morning.

Conservatives lost the war 20 years ago.

Flash: IF Thad Cochran is NOT absolutely necessary to win the Senate, everyone should stay home or vote against him.

But...

If the ONLY way to win the Senate is to re-elect him, then he should be re-elected with our help.

Then defeated when the Senate can be controlled without him.

Interesting perspective.

Is this a guy I would take advice from? Probably not, based upon the analysis presented here.

There's a case to be made for holding your nose and voting for the establishment candidate, but this isn't it.
